Kontrol Freek precision rings

Has anyone used these things yet? I know they're fairly new. I've used it for Call of Duty and they're too stiff to move and shoot. I assumed these might be helpful for people who move the left stick too much for this game.
-
I had to get new sticks, so I had them throw in an order of rings for the heck of it. I think maybe the soft ones might be useful for steeping pci in the zone, but we’ll see.
-
Tried them once. They hinder fielding too much and make the PCI seem less responsive. I suppose if you're having problems jerking the PCI on pitches middle or middle-low, they may help but to me the negatives outweigh the positives.

I didn’t even think about fielding. That could be an issue.

Good thought. Didn’t think about fielding either. I figured they would help me with low/low and inside pitches.

I understamd not everyone can just go buy one but if you're able, I recommend buying an elite controller or one that you can adjust the tension of the sticks. I played around with my elite series 2 and it made a world of difference tightening up the sticks. My PCI barely ever ran off on me. I was impressed honestly.

Been thinking of getting one to be honest. My compulsion of breaking a cpl controllers a year usually stops me tho lol

I have a scuf controller, but it isn't compatible with the PS5 yet. Will the elite controllers work for the PS5?

Mine is for Xbox. Luckily all Xbox controllers are compatible with Series X so it wasn't an issue. They are not compatible with PS4 or PS5 though. -

Lol they're worth it. I think you will stop yourself from breaking it everytime you think about how much you paid for it haha.. I'm looking forward to using the paddles for hitting and seeing how they respond in the actual game.. It was nice in the tech test. It felt more natural than using a face button.

I’ve always seen that they are constantly breaking though. Is this not as much of an issue as online complaints make it seem?

My personal experience has been good. I do my best to take good care of it but I have had zero issues so far.I would make sure to get a series 2 elite controller though. Series 1 are [censored] from what I've seen.

I use to cut tiny little little circles of grip tape(skateboard) and super glue them on to my controller sticks. it works really well but you have to redo it after awhile which can be a bit of a nuisance if you don't .
i found no point in doing that this year since pitching is random and the ball just floats down the middle anyway. but i do this for all games i play including NFL 2k5.
usually if you trace a dime and cut that out it fits perfectly on to the controller and then get some nail clippers and clip any harsh hanging edges so it fits inside the ridges of the rubber...
i've tried control freeks but they always fall off

I’ve been trying the rings (soft) and I like them. Fielding doesn’t seem to be affected and the ring essentially keeps the pci in the strike zone. As long as you don’t swing at tons of balls they seem pretty decent
-
I have experimented with the different rings and I've even trimmed them trying to get the right combo of resistance and range. The rings would be great if you could program sensitivity into the controller, that way you could still get full range on the pci with firmer resistance.
