PCI is fine if you are trying to learn to play the game but once you're good enough then turn it off. Skepple15, are you still trying to learn the game or this is how you normally play? I bet when you play racing game you use T-Cam instead of Cockpit? Or how about when you play Poker you wear shades?. See these are all the sucker's way out, man up and play games properly
So just wondering how does it feel to be at the mercy of the cpu and RNG and just have to press x to do everything??
hard to do 2 things at once or?...Who said anything about pressing X, I'm talking about using Analog Stride and swing instead of aiming and pressing X like you're playing a baseball game in the 80's.

️Goes to show what you... You still have to use the analog as if the PCI is visible because it's still there and you can't see it... I hate when people comment on something just because they feel a certain way about something when it's clearly obvious that you never put in real time into it nor do you know what your talking about!! Waaaayy better than playing like some 4 year old sitting in his dad's lap!! Dude please... We're not stupid!! That's all that is.. Smh!

Now this is your typical casual player.. This just sounds extra stupid with no real substance behind.. Just a freestyle! Anybody on here who've ever had to many hours of playing with the PCI off on higher difficulties will tell you that " PRESSING X " will get you a strike to the cows come home... On harder difficulties, you need to actually use all hitting types( power contact and the other one I forgot ) to fight off pitches.. Where do these guys come from? Do all of y'all just play on ROOKIE or something? These comments hating on people who DONT use the PCI sound young and dumb! Sorry, they do..

Lets make a thread about all the " little boys " that use ZOOM cam and just hold the PCI in the middle to get there hits!! Same spots on the field all game long!! I bet y'all wouldn't see any of us making up jibberish about that!! Just pathetic.. If you're over the age of 15 and you're using the PCI, you'd probably want to throw your console out!! ️In baseball, your control of your swing and where you want the ball to go is based on timing.. if I get a low and in pitch, I need to be early and get the barrel through the zone to pull it. If I get a high and outside pitch, I can wait for it to get deep before pushing it oppo. This is something the show has moved away from and it’s obvious if you ever feel like you timed a pitch perfectly but just pulled it foul, pause the game and go back to the replay. It happens constantly that your barrel is perfectly square with the pitch making it look like an easy hit to CF and it ends up going foul. The devs have made this game fantastically, this is just something that is very hard to put in, and that’s why they use things like PCI to distract you...

Timing is one part of swinging. You can perfectly time up every pitch, but you’ll be screwed every time if the pitch is in the upper or lower parts of the strike zone and you don’t move the bat to it.
You have to move the bat to the ball. Hitting irl isn’t 100% timing based.

I understand that, but PCI is not correct. A barrel is 2-5/8 inches wide, and maybe 12 inches long, a strike zone is roughly 17 inches wide by 24 inches tall. Having a circle that you can move at any given time is nowhere near realistic for “placement of the bat” to make solid contact. If you wanna keep pci fine, but make it realistic instead of a huge oval that doesn’t truly represent where the bat needs to be placed to make solid contact. -

I highly doubt many people would actually want the pci to be the exact size of the barrel.
The only way to truly make an authentic hitting interface is in VR. Until then, PCI is the most realistic we have. In the context of pci vs no pci, pci is more realistic.

Just look at your swing feedback.
The difference is with zone, you can choose where that oval goes while at the same time, timing your swing with the x button. With the other hitting interfaces, you only time your swing and cross your fingers the huge oval is on the ball.
