Whenever new-generation consoles come to the market, gaming companies tend to only feature modes that are exclusive to new-gen like 2K giving a female mycareer or EA bring back college football for only next-gen. If create a stadium is confirmed, I fear that it may be only exclusive to the next-gen consoles.

EA CFB isn't coming out for a couple of years at least. At that point, next gen market saturation is going to be exponentially higher than it is now.

we've already established cross-generation gameplay. If created stadiums are allowed online, then it makes zero sense to make create-a-stadium generation specific. And if they're not allowed online, then what's the hubbub about anyway?

Thw hubbub about stadium creator is for more than just diamond dynasty. Franchise players would love it so there is a lot of people looking forward to it especially that you can use a custom team in franchise.

I could certainly see the stadium creation for next gen only but I hope it'll be for both. I also don't think it will be that big of a deal and it will be more like a creator that gives you certain parts that you can use and piece them together to create it.

It should only be for franchise if you ask me

I can see them having less options on the PS4 & Xbox one due to the power gap that exist between last gen & current gen, but we will get something.

It would be a PR disaster to have more options on the PS5 this year than the 4. SDS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony and having a “better” version of a game which the current Ps5 rollout disaster would reflect really bad on Sony. That is the type of thing that gets actual bad real press (gaming press outside of the show forums I mean) and would likely be used to highlight just how terrible the PS5 rollout has been.

PS5 will have more options but create a stadium will be on both, their not giving the middel finger to people on PS4.
