What does that do if your pitching and opponent holds that ?

It makes you miss you wild. It's annoying. You have to really watch your meter

Yeah that's really annoying. Sometimes I think an opponent will do it because I'm pitching too quickly (I like to move the game along), so I'll slow down my pace. If they keep doing it, I'll step off if my meter doesn't start moving once I pull down on my stick (I pitch analog). Other than that, you just have to be aware that they're going to do that especially on 3 ball counts and stay focused.

Yeah, I try to step off because it makes getting a good release pretty tough.

I never had an issue with it and I use meter. It is just annoying
