Yup. Every game goes to extras and ends 1-0 on a lucky homerun..have all guys with vision over 100 and trying to use a pci the size of a dime is a little challenging..god help you if you face a outlier fastball

Just had a p/p fly ball with Babe Ruth off finest Beiber on a low cutter.....
“A ball that’s carrying...” for an out at the center field wall
Immediately turned the game off. Knew I shouldn’t have come back. Online gameplay is still a joke

Nothing worse then a maybe homerun and you hear Vasgersian say “a ball that’s carrying”. Just kills the hopes

I decided to try my hand in the event, although with a very average team due to not having played mlb since august. I needed a boat load of stubs so that I can finally obtain trout and surprisingly I got to 25+ wins rather easily and in less than 12 hours.
Sold bregman for a cool million and bought all the necessary cards for trout, yay lol. Very fun event!

You are leaving out the part that have averaged about 1800 games a year in previous iterations ) winning the huge majority). You aren’t some schlep stumbling into the legend event without skills.

Finest Cody Bellinger is the best player I’ve used this year. Cannot hit with anyone else consistently on Legend except with Bellinge

Thought this Legend difficulty would widen the gap between monitor playing WS and 12-0 BR players and TV playing chumps like myself but it seems to have done the opposite. I usually can't hang with those folks but have beaten a few of them so far.

I think there is some whacked stuff going on with pitching. Even against really poor opponents, I will suddenly have the damndest time hitting my spots at all.

The thing that is ridiculous about legend is how the same rules apply to contact. Same line outs etc. a perfect perfect line out on legend stings even more then on other difficulties.

I'm definitely not a legend hitter, but I would agree that Bellinger is the best hitter I have used. Same was true last year.
I'm hitting under .200 with 1 or 2 HR with 99 Tatis and I can't do anything to get that [censored] going at the plate (I know I'm in the minority here), but Bellinger is hitting over .360 with like 28 or so homeruns (over half of his hits have been homeruns). I think two games back he was 4-4 with 4 HR.
Am I that much worse one or two batters earlier when Tatis is up? Probably not. I feel like the PCI feedback is usually pretty similar. Bellinger is just unstoppable.

I'm still loving this event. Current streak is 4 in a row. Beat some WS players, guys with insane win/loss records. Last game was intense and a blast. Tons of K's (in 7 innings) but Mookie put me ahead with a 2 run shot. Belly has been killing it. My pitching has been good and the bullpen has been dominant. Sorry guys but I wish all events were played on this level.

If all events were played on this level, there would be an awful lot of 12 inning no hitters ending with a walk off late home run.
Maybe a better thing to wish for would be consistent gameplay across difficulty levels and modes.

Went from 12-8 on the 4th to 14-49 today. Was scoring atleast twice a game. Now lucky to get 1 hit a game. Did all the lower ranked players give up?

Got my 50th win today and I chose Willie mccovey from the rewind choice pack.
The other two guys were Jake Arietta and lefty grove
