I just use it to drank and get closer to prestiging pitchers. Only put the ball in play 6 times in a 17-inning game. After the 4th inning I was just swinging for the fence as I grabbed another cold one.. HAHA

I've never used anything but normal swing in my entire MLB the show career. Using contact or power swing honestly just feels uncomfortable to me
Are you talking about online only? Surely you must use power swing in those Veteran level showdowns or conquest games?
Yeah online only. There is no need to power swing unless it's for Veteran or Rookie IMO

So I haven't been doing as bad as I thought... until today. Won 5 games out of 3 then I don't know what happened... timing is way off on off speed. Way behind on every fastball. Can't even buy a win in my last 16 games

Won 2 games today to get to 19. 2-0 today but I took me 30 stupid innings. First game went 18 and next went 12. Both 1-0 affairs. This is so beyond idiotic.....

I just had one go 12 only to lose after an unforced error bad animation on a ground ball to first.
It happens. Hopefully you got some prestige stats.
Sometimes I think certain pitcher attributes have an effect on timing windows. That or being at an away stadium or a bad connection.

I'm way in front of 94mph cutter but way behind on a 95mph fastball.

Yup. Every game goes to extras and ends 1-0 on a lucky homerun..have all guys with vision over 100 and trying to use a pci the size of a dime is a little challenging..god help you if you face a outlier fastball
I can't catch up with a 95mph fastball but way in front of a 94mph cutter. Makes perfect sense to me

Just had a p/p fly ball with Babe Ruth off finest Beiber on a low cutter.....
“A ball that’s carrying...” for an out at the center field wall
Immediately turned the game off. Knew I shouldn’t have come back. Online gameplay is still a joke

Nothing worse then a maybe homerun and you hear Vasgersian say “a ball that’s carrying”. Just kills the hopes

I decided to try my hand in the event, although with a very average team due to not having played mlb since august. I needed a boat load of stubs so that I can finally obtain trout and surprisingly I got to 25+ wins rather easily and in less than 12 hours.
Sold bregman for a cool million and bought all the necessary cards for trout, yay lol. Very fun event!

You are leaving out the part that have averaged about 1800 games a year in previous iterations ) winning the huge majority). You aren’t some schlep stumbling into the legend event without skills.

Finest Cody Bellinger is the best player I’ve used this year. Cannot hit with anyone else consistently on Legend except with Bellinge

Thought this Legend difficulty would widen the gap between monitor playing WS and 12-0 BR players and TV playing chumps like myself but it seems to have done the opposite. I usually can't hang with those folks but have beaten a few of them so far.

I think there is some whacked stuff going on with pitching. Even against really poor opponents, I will suddenly have the damndest time hitting my spots at all.

The thing that is ridiculous about legend is how the same rules apply to contact. Same line outs etc. a perfect perfect line out on legend stings even more then on other difficulties.
