Do stats in conquest games count toward the WS program missions? If so, I can work towards Buehler and Pearson at the same time. Arozorena and Fairbanks could help the squad out as wella

Main thing is that you try and use guys that you don't see everyday. That will keep opponents off balance or complacent.

I forgot about bob gibson he’s an easy conquest to get. He was my #1 before I quit.

Gibson is good for minimal effort..Pearson has been worth it for me in the extreme program, Tom Seaver was worth it for me as well..I’m kinda bored pitching with him. But whenever I have a big game I give him the ball...lately the event rewards were end game so was worth the patience to get belli, grove and good gossage. I grinded for verlander and arrietta but disliked both online so sold for a combined 1.4 million

Awards Max Scherzer hasn't left my rotation since he came out.

Kopech is pretty awesome his price has jumped up considerably but still say he is worth it

Just grinded out for Buehler. And I should be close to being able to buy Kopech or DeGrom once I sell all these postseason cards!

Buehler is not the answer. He does alright until 2 strikes, but he doesn't really have an out pitch. Kopech is ok until a runner gets on. Then he goes into a quick delivery and gets hammered

Gibson is easy to acquire. Couple conquest games. Top 5 pitcher in the game

So on AS decent FB with sinker/cutter and a good slider are a must. The guy who can induce poorer contact tends too get it done. On HOF while I have seen some people have success with finesse pitchers, the formula at least to me seems to be that a 99+ FB is absolutely necessary to keep guys off balance.
So guys with a great slider and changeup mixed with the FB seem to be the play. Also lefty's are good as most guys are running some combination of Trout, Tatis, Mookie.... Plus you're throwing away from guys like Ruth, Gehrig, Soto, etc...
- Sale Solid unless you're up against a guy who has drilled him over and over and can crush him, he's been BP for some guys.
- Lefty Grove Absolute beast
- DeGrom Absolute Beast
- Gibson Solid with a good FB
- Wood If you can get off to a fast start with some K's he's almost unhittable for about 6 innings, but don't hesitate to pull him early as he inexplicably starts shitting the bed in the 7th, even with a low pitch count.
- Al Leiter I just started experimenting with him, have only used him on AS and he's been surprisingly good. Induces a lot of poor contact, supposedly is really good on HOF but havn't had the courage to pull the trigger yet and start him.
- Kershaw Has enough zip to keep guys honest, but has a ton of mvmnt on his pitches.
- Paxton 100mph FB, but is prone to hanging breaking stuff
- Maddux Induces a ton of poor contact, sprinkle in the FB on the edges every now and then
- Whitley Good pitch mix, but poor stamina, only good for 6-7
I also keep someone like a Buehler, Kluber, Blue on the 5 when I'm making a run towards and into the 800's so I can bring them in if my starter starts having some issues, or if I just want to use them as a reliever. I havn't been able to get to WS yet but hopefully one day.
Lately Orel has been getting lit up like for me so I've benched him, likely just because at this point so many have seen him... a lot.

If you're considering Ryan go Wood or Gibson instead... Ryans control is bad and personally I just sit on FB as he doesn't have many options and because his control stinks the breaking stuff is often out of the zone. Otherwise it's a solid lineup.

I wish he had a slider, but I've been having decent success with him. I throw his curve hard at an angle away from righties like a slider. If you mix locations and throw change ups too, Ryan can be good. I might give Gibson a go though. Thanks for the heads up.
