Prefacing this post making it known I have NO idea how the point system works when it comes to RS...all I know is if you win, you get points. If the lower ranked team wins, that team gets more.

With that said, shouldn’t it be a thing where if your opponent quits a RS game you get some sort of additional bonus points on top of your win? Disconnects, it happens. I get it. But there is nothing more infuriating than getting into a game only for your opponent to quit when you start ripping. I just played a dude who quit in the 8th cause i went back to back to make the score 10-5....what’s the point? We all know comebacks are easily possible.

Maybe it’s already a thing, if so my point is moot.

But with a 5 run deficit in the 8th, he probably has a small chance (assuming you have a couple studs ready to cover the 8th and 9th to close it out). I could see if it was 7-5, then it would make sense to play it out and hope for the comeback.

A 5 run deficit with 2 innings in this game is never safe as long as the other person is at least holding the controller

You haven't played me or you might not say that so definitively, LOL 🙂

I love it when my opponent quits. Free points and I get to save energy in my bullpen. I don’t think I want extra points on top of that

I'll quit early sonetimes if I run into an opponent who fouls everything off constantly then rips hr's I've had games where I'm at 50 pitches in the 2nd inning. I have no chance of beating that guy and all I'll do is either leave in my starter and get mercied or decimate my pitching staff just to try and hang with him.

I don't really see any need for extra points for someone quitting early. You get the points you should get for the win, get to save your bullpen and that person just eliminated the possibility of coming back and beating you (which is possible a lot of times in this game) so I don't see the need for any extra points.

Although comebacks are possible, and do happen, I wouldn't say that they're easily possible.

Aside from that, I have a feeling that once you made the score 10-5, you both knew the game was over.

Quits are the ideal. No need to use the pen, take less time, and you keep your heart rate down.

I don't understand the complaints about people quitting. You get the W, what's the issue?
