This event is perfect. After grinding out 50+ wins in the East event the past couple of days just to get a shot at Goose Gossage (I ended up with Robb Nen and a hatred for Fenway...) now I can not play The Show for a while and finish Ghost of Tsushima. Thanks SDS.

Teams with Animals names and the ONLY reward associated with teams that have an animal name is Slaughter.
PERFECT opportunity to release a 99 Wander Franco (Rays) AND a 99 Adley Rutschman (Orioles).
But no, instead we get ANOTHER useless Ryan Braun and ANOTHER previous year Finest card.
I'm so glad MLB The Show 10 didn't have pre-debut cards.
GIVE US OUR BRIAN MATUSZ AND NEFTALI FELIZ!!!!!!!!!

I love ranked season easily the most exciting and challenging game mode but having 2 kids and a wife who works overnights in the medical field finding time to play a full game of ranked uninterrupted can be tough at times so I want to say thank you SDS for continuing to provide a second option to play vs. another person in a competitive setting without having to commit to a full 9 inning game for us who do not always have the ability to do that. I cant remember many instances since the games release where this option wasn't available so again thank you and keep up the great work there is no better value for the money spent than what you guys provide to us as customers.
-
Don't mind this event as I was looking for a reason to put Banks & Hornsby in some lineups and now I get to run them out there with Pujols, Bryant & Cobb. 5-0 but that won't last....
-
The 2nd part ends 1st week of March there has to be more in between.
I'm also with the gentleman that says I have a wife, a 2 year old, and not many times I can sit and play unrestricted 9 inning games, I love the 3 inning and 6 inning quick counts. I like the stadium locks also so you aren't forced to play the 'same' ole stadium every game. I've played since Launch and only played 139 RS games, its January and they are putting out solid content.
Another point is going forward I presume there will be a LOT of custom leagues continuing and even starting up. It gives custom leagues more players to choose from when they have 'team' rules etc or caps on Overalls.
Its January 8th 2021 and we are getting new content at least thru March 2021...
Everything is a win. Or would you rather have the Forever Event like previous year?
Done

They said there is a Next Year is our year with teams that missed playoff and then a Finest, Awards, and i forgot the other one event

Yeah this event SUUUUCKSS. No one wants either of those 3 cards except for the tards who put in buy orders for both Enos Slaughter and Josh Bell @ 1 million stubs. lol! Why!? Those cards are so horrible (Josh Bell is decent at hitting I guess) why waste a million stubs?
It might not be a waste for Pirates and Carfs fans with tons of stubs and nothing left to purchase.
Nope. Still a waste of stubs @ 1 million. There are soo many other cards out there that you could buy.
I guess you didn't read the part about "nothing left to purchase"?

I don't understand the whole "who is going to use these cards they aren't end game blah blah blah" either. End game content was 3 months ago. This is (as it should be), filler content to hold off until 21
Bingo, plus with these events we might have an opportunity to actually use them. And last I checked RS has no limits to lineups.

Exactly.... Some of us have nothing else to spend stubs on... we're just collecting cards. I don't understand the logic that spending a bunch of stubs on these players is dumb but buying Britton is okay... Isn't that exactly the same thing? It's not like Britton or Juan Pierre would suddenly make my team...

I imagined Brooks Robinson to be a reward for pt 2. Eddie Murray would work as well.

The awards don’t change from part 1 to part 2.

Imagine it being January and you're not putting out 99 overall cards. Enos should have been an event award back in March. Sometimes their content structure just makes no sense.

Well there's only about 7 possible 99 cards left. 3 of those being future stars(Adley, Franco, Witt Jr,), 2 of which being previous event rewards for their lower cards(Murray and Brooks), Dale Murphy, and Maybe Robin Roberts(there is no precedent for what SDS would set his overall at.) I agree That Bell was a poor choice, but should have been Stargell instead, who has never been higher than a 97. As I said above, expecting 99s in filler content season is just selfish.

Lol selfish? Its about getting people to play. Nobody wants these cards, in 17 the forever event was 100 wins for a 99 Mike Trout. That's something to play for, not a bench bat, an event specific card, and a card that should of been a spring release.

Besides Adley and Franco there aren't any cards left that will get people to play. That's my point. And it's only the same 10 dudes that beg for those 2 cards anyway. "Endgame" cards and content are over and done with

At this point you just juice up a card. Thoe FS would be perfect for that. Make Wander something ridiculous.

Disagree. Adley could very well be the true endgame Catcher as he's a switch hitter with great defense and depending on the attributes they give him potentially great offense too.

Yea I mean at this point who cares. Unleash as many 99s as possible to keep people playing. If I’m taking a break from the game, 60 wins for a 98 and they advertise slaughter? I’m not coming back
