Whats funny is this is a TWO PART Event. So unless they add rewards; it's useless.
Yes, it's still content. But NONE of these cards will make someone's end game team.
True, but there's people who don't compete and only play vs CPU, if they can't smack a CPU SP with that Braun card then that's a problem lol
The rewards do suck tho 100%

Yeah this event SUUUUCKSS. No one wants either of those 3 cards except for the tards who put in buy orders for both Enos Slaughter and Josh Bell @ 1 million stubs. lol! Why!? Those cards are so horrible (Josh Bell is decent at hitting I guess) why waste a million stubs?

Bah... At this point in the year I have the "God Squad" and was really hoping Adley would be a reward since he at least has the potential to make an end game squad. What blows is that no one is going to do the event so it's gonna make the rewards rare and cost a fortune...
My OCD drives me to collect all these stupid cards too. I got that terrible Nenn card and Willie McCovey in the Giants event. So with nobody doing the event Braun and Bell are gonna cost a pretty penny... Oh well. Not like I have much else to spend stubs on. Was really hoping for something that could potentially be useable though.

Nope. Still a waste of stubs @ 1 million. There are soo many other cards out there that you could buy.

Because some of us literally have nothing else to spend stubs on... I guess it's a nice problem to have but my OCD makes me feel like I'm playing Pokemon... Gotta Catch Em' All!

You need to remember that part two will be the man part so it's not like it will be an event with only the animal teams the whole time.

I think people just mean that these cards could have easily been released earlier in the games cycle. There's also some cards that haven't released that people might actually use on their main team.

So you are telling me you have EVERY card out there worth 1 million? Or some of the lower cards that are selling for a ton like Britton? Save your stubs and buy someone else. You dont "need" these cards. Trust me lol. Why get them? So you can try them out twice then never use them again?

I like playing these events. Most of the people left are great at the game and I feel like I’m getting better as a result. The cards are a nice little bonus. Just have fun.

Yeah... I have almost every card I can get except a few of the ones you have to wait in the million stub line for. I have Vlad, Rickey, Pujols, Gossage, Mays, etc...
Not flexing either. But any card I get now is just for fun and only gonna be used a few times at this point in the year.

I get that, but there are just as many people that get upset when Pujols, Griffey, Chipper etc aren't released early. And if you release these 2 (I agree that Bell shouldn't be a reward, Braun and Slaughter are perfectly fine, Bell should have been Stargell) early in the year, it pushes the headliners to replace them in this event. Expecting god squad tier cards in January is just straight up selfish IMO

Yeah I feel ya there and agree. Nobody should be expecting god tier cards in January. I guess it's just something to grind for while we wait for the next game.

I suck at online I won 1 game this past event. I just use the events to get stats for prestige guys. Looks like my main guy will be Darvish, Wood and Nick Anderson for pitching.

Same, I don't play a lot online, I'm simply not a good enough hitter, but I've been using the events to try and grind some prestige. I didn't really play the first two rounds of the Belly/Verlander/Arietta event but ended up winning 11 games over the last leg of the event. Not enough for any good prizes, but I have Soto, DeGrom and Nick Anderson almost prestiged so it was a win for me.

This event is perfect. After grinding out 50+ wins in the East event the past couple of days just to get a shot at Goose Gossage (I ended up with Robb Nen and a hatred for Fenway...) now I can not play The Show for a while and finish Ghost of Tsushima. Thanks SDS.

PERFECT opportunity to release a 99 Wander Franco (Rays) AND a 99 Adley Rutschman (Orioles).
But no, instead we get ANOTHER useless Ryan Braun and ANOTHER previous year Finest card.
I'm so glad MLB The Show 10 didn't have pre-debut cards.

I love ranked season easily the most exciting and challenging game mode but having 2 kids and a wife who works overnights in the medical field finding time to play a full game of ranked uninterrupted can be tough at times so I want to say thank you SDS for continuing to provide a second option to play vs. another person in a competitive setting without having to commit to a full 9 inning game for us who do not always have the ability to do that. I cant remember many instances since the games release where this option wasn't available so again thank you and keep up the great work there is no better value for the money spent than what you guys provide to us as customers.
