Sal is great. I used him in the Central event and enjoyed him. Hits really well. However personally I still prefer Pudge. Most people don't like Pudge, but I for whatever reason have a decent amount of success with him. Maybe it's the small frame small strike zone.

Also, that arm and defense can't be beat.

I'm aware that I'm in an overwhelming minority here though. Most people will tell you Sal or Foxx.

Don't look at the price tag. Just do the exchanges for THE TA and with what u get along the way he's essentially free. I'm still just shocked at the price of these TA4 cards for the reason I just stated.

Never used sal. But vs lefties stallings is a beast. And I could never put fox behind the plate.

I think he's the best primary Catcher in the game, but I still think Foxx has the better bat.

His bat is great but not better than Foxx. Obviously Perez has the better defense over Foxx. Pudge is the most dominant defender in the game. So it depends on what you value. Ive had trouble deciding on whether to keep Foxx and then bring Pudge in as a defensive replacement. Or free up a bench spot and just have Perez as my only catcher. In the event I have been using Realmuto and he has been crushing. He is a cheaper option over Perez.

I agree with you. He’s not as “fun” because dudes love the long ball, but he’ll hit doubles for days. I had him at 2 in my lineup for the production at one point. I personally can’t get going with Pérez. Bought and sold him 3 times and just gave up.

The only thing I'm 'concerned' about is that while I'm trying to build up the other teams' TAs; I won't have a use for him.

Buy the time I need to put him in a lineup; I'll have acquired 4-5 other catchers.
