Cards you think you want but..

What are the cards that everyone seems to ask for that really wouldn’t make a lot of end game lineups? I think two of the biggest names that would not translate well to the game would be Jeter and Manny.
Everyone seems to ask for these cards but what are the chances they would make many lineups? Manny would be a beast at the plate but his defense would make him unplayable. His card would basically be JD’s awards card from this year. At best a bench bat. I can’t remember ever seeing that card in any lineups.
Jeter if they are being generous would have close to honus hitting attributes but nowhere near the speed or defense. How many people would use honus if his d was gold and he was slower.
I dont see many people ask for frank robinson but I think he would play amazing. Maybe just a step below Mays.

Sosa and Bernie Williams...I mean with an OF of Mays Trout Griffey Mantle Walker it's almost like what's the point?
However, a popular card that would deliver on the hype is Randy Johnson.

Manny would be more like Ted or Finest Soto in my opinion. As with everyone in this game though it all depends on his swing.
Randy Johnson would likely be another just like another Sale, which isn't a bad thing. I'd like to see a Pedro.
And I think we all agree we'd rather see A-Rod over Jeter, but it's a money game and we also know who would sell more copies.

I would take an outfielder named BONDS and he would play everygame for me LOL

Andy Van Slyke. Also, Roy Campanella.

LMAO you know I mean his son

I'll take ARod. Prime version where he had power and speed. A McGwire would also be fun although 1b is stacked right now. Bonds and Manny but no place to put them in the OF. DD would have to add a DH.

+1 for Pedro, would definitely use him
