It could have to do with certain setups who knows? A few of us on here as well as others pertaining to different games have experienced a timing issue and this has been the fix.

Yes there are two other threads that go in detail but the main thing to do is:
On the console settings (not game) go to
Saved Data and Game/App Settings
Game Presets
Performance mode or resolution
Switch that to performance modeIt’s solved almost everyone’s issue on games that involve timing by doing this.
I’ve also found that manually selecting 1080p and turning both HDR and deep color off help with timing as well. I’ve also heard that they have better success using a PS4 controller on the PS5 FWIW

This has perked my interest now to whether there are certain settings on the PS4 to maximize performance on the Show.

Only if you play on a PS4 Pro. On the Pro you can select a performance setting just like on the PS5. You can choose between faster (1080p), balanced (1440p) and sharper (4K upscaling). In my experience faster works best because the frame rates are more stable, but balanced works well in the lower regions and BR because the picture is somewhat clearer meaning you will see the ball better. Or ar least I do. But on HOF and Legend, you will have a disadvantage if you don't play on faster.
On a regular PS4 you have no choice and you will automatically play on faster (1080p).

I never said we bet money on it. I said we wagered, that doesn't always have to include money. Some people from around here assumed you would be mad/defensive for the words I said about recognition, whereas I guaranteed them the first thing you'd mention was the block you're no longer on. Because that's a direct result of that crave for recognition you have for some odd reason. That means more to you than any insult I could ever place at your address and you just proved me right, again.
