Wow, this thread sure touched some nerves.
In Matt’s defense, a 55% win percentage in baseball is pretty good. Not everyone is a top 100/35/a billion player.
I don’t think players that lobby for pitching input to matter are a problem. I don’t think complaining about Shippett makes someone a bad player.
We’ve all lost games to inferior players there.
Not all of us want 15-12 slugfests with 17 solo home runs in our games.
Some of us are looking for some subtlety.
Lots of players try to emulate top players by choosing Shippett, and I would argue that those players are NOT getting better.
I would also suggest that it is very difficult to actually get better this year, because the gameplay is super inconsistent. Hopefully it will improve in future versions so arguments like this one will go away. I like to think a balanced game would support many strategies, and not create cults of “exploiters” or home hunters or “cheesers”.

I lost by one run vs his god squad and I only had that team bc I had literally never played 16 before. Smacked him in 19 with even teams. Nice try tho. And idk wtf u mean by “never enter the tournament in game ”.

How do you end up playing at home so many times? Unless you flipped heads on a coin 19 out of 20 times, it’s because you used the home hunting exploit to guarantee yourself to play at a stadium that fits your style of gameplay and allows you to use home quirks on your cards. If that’s not cheating, at the very least it definitely isn’t fair play.

How do you end up playing at home so many times? Unless you flipped heads on a coin 19 out of 20 times, it’s because you used the home hunting exploit to guarantee yourself to play at a stadium that fits your style of gameplay and allows you to use home quirks on your cards. If that’s not cheating, at the very least it definitely isn’t fair play.

Yes some cards have quirks that make them play better at home. Do you ever look at those?

You say bunting is for bad players that don’t trust their hitting even though good players have admitted to bunting when they are desperate. Then it’s safe to say you are a “bad” player since you don’t trust your hitting as the away team.
