This game play is ridiculous right now. Doesnt matter who is pitching or hitting all that matters is who hits more homers lol. Game seems like it had the potential to be so great this year but idk how they are going to fix this without breaking hitting

They can alter a lot when they patch the game ... Bug testers are the users now in modern gaming.. I’m sure they’ll take in the feedback and adjust things ...

Pitch speeds should be faster, but this kind of complaint is how we got all the lineouts in 2019, good contact should be rewarded.

Increase pitch speeds and decrease pci size. Both by large margins. This game is a joke right now

Ive only played events online, but it seems like they should just call this who can hit the most hrs 20. Worse then 18 for the long ball.

I had 4 perfect perfect homeruns in one inning, 5 overall before my opponent quit. He had three and all these were on missed spots. They stated pitching was harder in this game and if you aren’t hitting spots it’s

They have noobed the game, now everyone is amazing at The Show. Its prolly like RBI Baseball now, all super easy and acardy.

Pitch speeds are fine, give them some time to get more data from the overall release before making any gameplay changes. Most people playing right now are the better/more dedicated players, so using our data isn’t very representative.

Current pitch speeds are fine for All Star players, which I'm guessing is the average player level for The Show but for the rest of us that aren't casual players that don't do DD or online things and just do Franchise we want a challenge...they should just go back to 2019 pitch speeds, that was good.

Right, they are fine for the average player (is the bulk of SDS customers and many of whom do in fact play DD online). If you want a challenge get up past 700 in RS.

Pitching is messed up. I’m losing my mind with my pitchers. I get that you aren’t going to hit your spot every time but every time a pitcher misses right now it goes right over the heart of the plate and even when I get perfect releases I still miss down the heart of the plate sometimes it’s crazy.

It’s not even about a challenge. The current pitch speeds just make pitching so problematic.

19 also had the same issues with meatballs right down the middle when you had a good release and are aiming for a corner ...

It’s not even about a challenge. The current pitch speeds just make pitching so problematic.
How are the pitch speeds feeling offline ? Any difference or still feeling slow in offline play ?

Last year hitting started out great, but it was nerfed the first week. It took a long time for things to get better after that. The game was great on release in 2019. I’m hoping they just change pitch speeds on higher difficulties and leave hitting alone.

I don’t see how just increased pitch speeds will solve things. There is clearly a connection between the slower pitch speed and the smaller timing windows.

Y’all complain about bombs, they nerf you will complain you can get hits or bombs. This game has always been a hr fest. Until doubles and stringing our hits is relevant it will always be that... just the difference be a 11-9 and a 3-1 game... all runs unfortunately gone from jacks on this regardless of score
