Why would you waste that god like arm at 2nd?

Too much competition in the outfield. Still fantastic reaction to offset modest speed at 2nd.

The only right answer is Gavin Lux. The man, the myth, the legend.

You are correct and it is the one position i really have not found my end game guy.
Morgan raked for me in the last event. Has speed, kills righties, defense is good for a 2b. Otherwise use one of the thousand SS with secondary position. Lindor, Seager, Story, Wagner, Correa, Joram, Mondesi, etc I also really like Mookie there.

Basically because there is a glut of great OF options. I love Mookie but it is hard to play him over Soto, Griffey, Trout and Mantle. I like starting him at 2nd and then moving him to the OF in the late innings to take Sotos spot. Mookie to RF, Trout goes from RF to LF.

    Ketel Marte is another one.
For me, it’s him and Mondesi in the middle infield. HRD Cano is a good backup.

I have the same struggle. There's no definite endgame 2B that I can put at 2b and leave there confidently.

The answer is Topps Brad Miller. Yes it’s his secondary but he’s still gold defense and he’s a monster at the plate!!

I feel like this game is very lacking in good second basemen. In a second baseman, I'm looking for...

    1. Great hitting
    2. Decent/above average speed (not required, but it is useful)
    3. Great fielding (for double plays, especially)

    Recommendations please?

    My CAP Chase Utley

Joe Morgan, Frankie Lindor, Honus, or Mookie are all outstanding. I personally run Mookie at 2 because it allows me to move him into the outfield late game if I feel like I need to upgrade Ted Williams defense.

Seager is a stud too, but I prefer to use him off the bench.

Don't sleep on POTM Jram either. If prestiged he's got gold defense at his secondary positions, and he can play just about anywhere.

Seager 2 slow for 2nd 2 many balls by him up middle, I live his bat but I've benched him for Lux currently.

Morgan or Lux my top 2 'overall with Hornsby on bench, Mondesi, and Seager

    As above.... MVP Joe Morgan.

123 C and 107 P vs righties, 92 speed and great defense. What's not to love?

Finest Lindor - retains diamond defense at 2B, great swing, ball jumps off his bat from both sides of the plate.

I'll say it since no one else has; SS Jackie. He's my end-game 2B every year. He ticks the boxes you want, plus he's free, and the grind for him pays out great rewards if you haven't started it yet. That being said, Finest Mookie would be my next choice. My goodness that card is a problem.
