CAP Reliever

Which option did you take for your max? I've got my 85 with velo. He hasn't given up any runs yet online. Which seems to play better, velo, break, or control/balanced and why? I like the idea of a slider over a cutter, but I'm not sure since sliders hang so much this year.

I went with the break but he got hit around so I use my low diamond that has the velo. It really works with a deceptive delivery like Cueto or Neshek. My CAP reliever is no long in my BP cause of all the other arms I have.

Oof, you messed that up lol but plenty of RP arms so you're fine.

Definitely velo with Cutter/FB/CH

Wrong.
Whichever is 4sm, ch, slider. Adam Cimber delivery that slider is just so disgusting.

We’ll have to agree to disagree then. My CAP has a 30MPH differential between his FB and CH and 8 between the CUT and FB. I also use a cheesy sidearm motion but not Cimber and all three pitches tunnel very easily

Belive my guy has a 10-12 MPH difference in the slider. Anyway, absolutely elite, only 2 or 3 runs in 18 innings worked. 30k's.

99 FB
87 Slider
72 CHThis with all the best equipment was awesome for me. I use the Josh Hader delivery and the CH works almost like a sweeping curve. Absolute filth. My cap is my 3rd reliever in my pen currently. Usually use him to get 1 or 2 outs when I'm in a jam with runners on. It takes at least a batter for people to adjust so he's perfect in those scenarios in the middle innings. Also, has a ton of stamina with the equipment in case I need to eat innings in a blowout.

Mine closes games. 1 inning guy, blows people away with the slider FB combo.

Backfoot slider is deadly if you don't hang it. I use 99 Goose to close games unless I'm in a bind in the 7th or 8th and I have to use him. In those cases I use 99 Mo, or 94 Rollie who is still lights out for me. Rollie has an ERA under 2, and I've used him all year

Mo was such a disappointment in my hands. Gets absolutely lit up. I have a strict formula for my games, Neshek also resides in my pen so I work like this...
Goose usually sets up in the 8th, if lefty heavy its Chapman. If I'm up 4+ I'll use Neshek or Sig Sutter in that situation. I try and avoid using Neshek and Jack Frost (my cap) in the same game to avoid tunneling.
Other guys in my pen are Gagne and Crochet.

My pen is
Cap
99 Devin Williams
96 Crochet
99 Goose
97 Chapman
99 Mo (Prestige)
96 RollieI am hesitant with Chapman, because I struggle with his control. Mo I've had success with surprisingly. I used Gagne and Brad Hand for a bit as well

My pen has been pretty lights out lately:
Andrew Miller
Pat Neshek
Devin Williams prestige
Nick Anderson prestige
Crochet
Chapman
Gossage -
