Pack History- First Diamond of the Year?

Aside from the pre-order diamonds, who was your first diamond pull of the year?
The history will update card pulls that weren’t diamond at the time, but what was your first, at launch, diamond?
Mine was Yelich.
Looks like I also got a lot of Voit, Nick Anderson, and Time Anderson’s early on as well who ended up going diamond.
Pretty interesting to look at the history of it all.

I actually just updated my diamond pull spreadsheet.
It was Kirby Yates!
If you have the time, I highly recommend making a spreadsheet with all of your diamond pulls. You can then see your odds (You would need to know how many packs you have opened, which I haven't counted yet) and how many times you have pulled each player! -

I can’t even remember who mine was but I know I had trout 2 weeks in when he was going for almost 400k

I remember mine well, I went almost a month with no diamonds. Was starting to get a bit annoyed tbh. Then, a wonderful wild Mike Trout appeared and I suddenly wasn't upset anymore.

Did y’all sell Trout when he was going for that much, or keep him?

I kept him because of how rare he was, plus I like completing collections so I keep a lot of the cards I get that are used in a collection. Even to this day if I get a collectible I lock them in but I also have over 3 million stubs so it’s not like I’m hurting for currency.

Sold for 370k. Completed the Rockies immediately.

Kept him. LS Trout was in my outfield until his MVP card took over. Also, it allowed me to get 94 Wagner who's still in my bullpen today. Now if that sig buy order would ever fill I'd be able to replace him

I pulled Mike Trout from a Twitch drop pack on the day the day dropped. I kept him to anchor my team, and make the collections a little less expensive.
