Endgame catcher?

Foxx is not usable if you are someone who even remotely thinks about burying one in the dirt ever so often.
You can bury pitches in the dirt this year? Tell me your secrets. My pitches just hang in the lower strike zone only to be destroyed.

Grandal is my favorite

Pudge is the best, his bat is superb and his defense is second to none and he’s not slow. If you like to bury pitches in the dirt and make it so no one can ever run on you use pudge. He hits tons of tanks and clutch hits but his defense all game everygame without a doubt saves more runs that Jimmie fox could ever score. It’s not even close imo, all the other catchers have serious week spots and pudge is perfectly well rounded

Every time I see Jimmie fox behind the plate I salivate as I value speed a lot on my team so if I get on base you can bet I’m stealing to third and exploiting TF out of foxx’s inability to play defense. Create havoc, bait quick pitch fastballs , hit tanks. I don’t know how anyone runs foxx back there. Everytime I play someone with him back there I get several extra runs per game

I’m hitting .450 with Foxx and I guarantee I wouldn’t hit above .350 with Pudge, with little to no power. Foxx hasn’t been any worse at blocking than any catcher I’ve seen. Haven’t had any issues with him defensively at all. So yea Foxx is easily more productive to my team than pudge would be

That’s pretty lame. I’d be glad to see you pulling those shenanigans too. Thanks for the free outs!

I feel like Perez is the best well rounded catcher. Foxx undoubtedly is the best bat but his defense is pretty bad. I would put JT and Pudge a tie for third. Jt has great power and some speed for a catcher. Pudge has amazing defense that shuts down stealing. I was using the Fox/Pudge combo for a while. I'm liking Perez though (despite his snail speed). I'm going to give him some time in the lineup and free up a bench spot by not carrying two catchers. CAP is always an option if you are a fan of using CAPs.
