60 wins is way too many

I'm at 50 wins and it really just comes down to away at chipping away at it. I'm probably averaging 3 wins per entry (free gold!) but plenty of times I've been crushed immediately. Just recognize when the matchup isn't in your favor but don't be afraid to go 6 innings if the opponent is fairly even as you just never know when that Walk, Hit, 3R bomb is coming around the corner.
Nahh bro don't preach that optimism I need ppl to quit and stop playing me out, quick Ws plis

I'm at 46 wins so far and am having a blast. Already wrapped up Trout, Machado, Betts, Marichal (yeah that sucked), and MA Correa prestige, and have made huge progress on Foxx and Biggio and am almost done Griffey.

Thanks, that’s all we need.

I'm not that good, my son and I haven't played many games online. Its a completely different experience. We're 0-6 in the event but 9-2 in ranked. We desperately want Belli, but this is definitely a struggle for us.

Usually in RS you can pitch your way to a tight matchup but here its a true slugfest where one badly located pitch can set you back several runs. Doesn't matter who you have on the mound. But pitch speeds always appear slowed in Events so generally you can score pretty easily. I hardly ever play RS anymore as Events to me are way more fun.

If you ask me, you’re winning. You’re playing with your son and that’s the biggest victory.

I've won 4 games only, but yesterday was my best day so far. Will see about this evening.

You are so right. He was relatively indifferent to baseball. We started playing the game in August to stave off the boredom of the pandemic. We are now obsessed with the game and it has unlocked a passion for baseball within him. We are New Yorkers, but my wife is from Illinois and a huge Cubs fan, so her family got a kick out of my son talking about all the classic Cubs he's been playing and studying up. It really has been the highlight of 2020 for me.

My son is 6 years old and I hope that I can build that kind of thing as he grows up. You’re 0-6, but you made the World Series of fatherhood brotha!

My son is 13 so 100% concur with the other posts here. I only picked up Diamond Dynasty this year so for anyone struggling just keep at it as it does get easier.

I started the day at 55 wins and played for 2 hours to get to 60, and done!!!!! I don’t need the stubs to try for 70 this event and I am burnt.....been a fun ride, back to reality hitting

I was going to do Marichal. Then I played one inning with that windup and took him out. Catfish is actually really good though. Must have slept on him when he came out.

II used Catfish for the first time in this event and was also pleasantly surprised. His command is great with a ton of break. I'd never take him into ranked at this point, but he was much better than I expected.
