Pitchers for Event

Ryan and Kershaw have been the only ones who hold guys under 2 runs. Everyone else seems to be pitching at a senior citizen softball game

Just managed to have a decent game with Nolan Ryan 3IP followed by Kenley Jansen 3IP only gave up 1 run with Ryan.

Yah Jansen kills me. I'm also just not great at hitting so its not uncommon for a pitcher to kill me.

Lmao same man. Played a dude last night who started Mike Scott. I was licking my chops I’m like no way I can lose. Well 2 Ks in the first inning and I had to pause and tell myself to get my [censored] together. Next inning promptly hit 2 bombs to go up 3-0. Close call lol

Yeah it's a homerun derby. With all arms. I don't even try and hit my spots. I throw it where ever. And hope for the best

It seems like relievers pitch much better than the starters for me. Gagne & Wagner have been lights out for the most part.
I wish I could say the same about Wagner, BP when I use him, lights out when I face him

Ha, I just posted about how I struggle against him even in this event,,.,,I just played a guy who pitched him for 5 innings and had a 5-2 lead as I was all mixed up....he finally pulled him in the 6th and I hit 5 homers and scored 7 runs the next two innings to win in extras 9-5.....

my starters haven't been bad (Hershiser, Gallen, Gonsolin, Kershaw) but my pen has been atrocious. I always seem to be behind in the count and have yet to find an effective option.

The only 2 relievers I have any confidence in are Gagne & SS Billy Wagner but even Wagner is not immune to this HR Derby....

Juan Marichal has been really good for me since I've been playing a lot of people selling out for high velocity with early swings so that change and slider are super effective. I'm just excited for the next event to see Kluber and Hal a ton again.

Kluber yes but won't be Hal I don't think. Rather, we'll see Finest versions of Bauer, Darvish & Bieber along with the occasional Feller, Sale, Kopech, Mize, etc. Also suspect we'll see a lot of Gibson, Arrieta, Giolito, Jenkins, etc.

I am close to prestige with Darvish and Bauer so anxious for that event.....but we still don’t know the event that starts tomorrow....
