Theme teams

What are some theme teams you like to use? Conquest is getting rather boring and I’ve still got 3-4 teams I want to finish. I’ve done all the other maps and still about half the team ones to go. Looking for ways to change it up, maybe freshen it up so I can at least finish off these last few without beating my head against a wall.

Haven’t run them yet, but thinking about a few myself:
Same jersey number
Jersey number corresponding to positional number
Small squad (shortest per position)
Giant group (tallest per position)
All secondary positions
All switch hitters
Same home town/state
Facial hair
Weird stances
Speed kills -

Do you have all the Affinity stuff maxed out? If you still have missions available to grind that's what I've been doing. Just mixing and matching to grind affinity missions combined with dailies when I have them.
I know some people have been constructing "Rival" teams for the Conquest maps. Like if you play the Braves, only use players that are rivals of that team. That sounds like a fun way to add variety without stretching too far.

This right here. I mix and match lineups all the time for conquests. My favorite is an all Signature Series team because its my favorite card art

Mine are fairly basic. I have an all speed team, sometimes I use an all switch hitting team, my all mariners team, my god squad, and then usually a team I’m rotating new players into. I usually use that team to try to get all diamond hitters at least 50 ABs. There are so many this year I may not get there.

1 Main - old guys pre 70’s. I move guys in and out of this. Babe, Ted, Honus, Jackie, Ty, Mickey, etc.
2 Finest
3 FotF
4 Signature.Also have done Topps but didn’t really grab me. Also Postseason and Awards but have settled on the 4 above.

U.S. born only
Non U.S. born only
Players and Pitchers with 125 clutch
Mike/Michael and Miguel Team -
We've done stuff like this:
States: AL, TX, MO
Regions: South, East etc
College Conference: SEC, ACC etc
Free Agents Only
Era players: it's a mix match, but pre-70s, 70 - 80 or however.This has always kept game refrigerator fresh for a few months. And now with custom leagues it adds to the fun, example Alabama vs California...
