Quit CPU Game by Accident (& Other Goofs)
-
So I was listening to a podcast while I played conquest, and I had to pause the game and rewind the podcast because I didn't catch something that was said. After I rewind and press play again, I thought that my conquest game was over (I mistook the pause menu for the end-of-game screen) and I went to quit.
I realized what I'd done and tried dashboarding to stop it, but I caught my mistake too late and now Dinelson Lamet is 32-1. Because of an accident.
This is probably wishful thinking, but there's no way to appeal this, is there? That one L is going to bother me for the rest of my playing this game, lol.
If that's not possible, then give me some silver lining. Have you made a blunder that's worse than mine?

In MLB 17 I paid 70k for Yoenis Cespedes just for him to drop to gold the very next day

Yes, I was once at 890-something and I faced a guy that I didn't wanna play because he was the home team and played in Minute Maid (the absolute worst of the worst) and also a pitcher on the mound that I usually struggle against. So I wanted to offer a Friendly Quit but instead I had a brain fart and just straight up quit. He was rated slightly above 700 so I dropped a ton of points.

I can’t remember what the card was but last year I accidentally did a sell now on an event reward after grinding forever to get it. Stupid beer.
-
I wanna say that I chose 2 Yogi Berra's from the ticket counter in 17. It was towards the end of the year and you couldn't QS them so I was stuck with them both.
-
I accidentally quick sold LS Nolan Arenado last year

I bought MVP Kris Bryant for 80K just for him to go to 30K the next day.
-
I accidentally dashboarded a ranked game up 1-0 this season

Where's the guy who bought 91 hornsby for 800k last week?

I have put in Buy orders close to the buy now price and sell orders close to the sell now price. I wasn't paying attention and was hoping to flip instead I made someone else a nice little profit. But otherwise i've been pretty lucky in not goofing too bad on cards this year.

I'm pretty sure I did the same one day when I was bone-achingly tired and should've just gone to bed.

Earlier this season I bought a bunch of Diamond players for under 6,000 stubs each that I really couldn’t afford. I locked them in for collections, and went to quicksell them to get my money back. Oh, you can’t quicksell them anymore this year? Oops, I’m broke.
-
Accidentally bought a live deGrom when I meant to sell a LS deGrom. Ended up with two. I think when all was said and done and had sold both, I made 20k less than I would have if I hadn't accidentally hit that "buy now."

Same. It took too long for my brain to process what happened when I hit "quit." Brain fart occurred due to lack of sufficient sleep after driving four hours yesterday.

my cat pulled the power cable from my ps4 in the middle of an event game where I was going for a 12th win (was 11-1 in that entry, early on in the year when diamond awards were worth something)
