@OreoRockstar said in Well, I think that does it.:

I have posted a few times in other threads that the only thing really left for me to try and do was pull Trout as out of the thousands of packs this year, he is the only one to allude me ( I think I have gotten Cole 10x, Verlander 7, etc.).

Finally happened today and unfortunately I was flying thru opening a bunch from rewards and didn’t even watch the animation as I just hit the turnover button by mistake . Figures...

So I just bought all the new RIB ( I will still play some), and still have 7.5 M stubs. Wish I could figure out how to get them to my son as I don’t see anything else coming to spend them on.

Hope all of you are finishing your last challenges.

Question for you: what was your method throughout the year to accumulate so many stubs?

Probably playing the market really well.

Playing the market is an art and it’s a lot of work. It does save you money though.

This year with unlimited buy/sell orders flipping was very profitable.

some crazy margins to be made whenever new cards dropped. when the Postseason ones dropped I made about 350k in under an hour. equally bought Aparicio for 35k and sold two minutes later at 68k (before tax). nice 25k free stubs for two minutes work. I've never had more than about 300,000 left at the end of an MLB season but I'm sat on 1.3m at the moment with nearly every player I want in my collection. has been very easy to rack up stubs this year, although the pandemic has helped - had a lot more time on my hands!

This was my first year of playing DD, although I have been playing TS since it’s debut year.... I didn’t understand how to make stubs early and bought some initially and always regretted it.....I learned a couple months in how to work the market, and I have had 5 M stubs plus at all times since late summer while being able to get every card in the game.....

Now I was really just trying to protect myself for end of year cards that would come, but as you can see, I wildly overestimated......so a lot of my flipping time was an absolute waste.....but I would do it from my phone or laptop when I was at my son’s summer baseball camps, daughters gymnastics, or sitting watching TV with the wife...

I will be a lot more strategic next year....

its not an art, it is super easy as long as you watch the deltas - but i agree it is a lot of work

This year I didn't play the market like usual and still had about 4 million stubs plus most players when TA4came out. They were overly generous with stubs this year.

I flipped him when I got him and didn’t even move to see the rewards. So, I found out at a later date. Didn’t even know how long I had him in my inventory

Not quite unlimited...I don't remember what that total was but I once got a message that I exceed the cap. Flipped a ton of commons early on.
