ke my bullpen, i really enjoyed his card last year but yah other then that these will just be used to complete all time teams but there free so no complaints.
I am planning on using the 99 Jake Arrieta and 99 Anthony Rizzo, but those are the only ones I will use.

Yeah these cards are not cracking anyone's line up.. Kind of silly to be dropping them now at the end of the cycle.
That is the entire point of run it back. To get these kind of players cards. Outside of FS Adley, Franco, and a Verlander card there aren’t any cards that will “crack someone’s lineup”. These are for theme teams and fans of the teams these cards are on. That’s it

I'm definitely trying that Eckersley out.

These cards are great for custom leagues.

Not every card in the game that comes out, even this late in the cycle, needs to "crack people's lineups" or be an end game card.
Not every card needs to be a 99. Both Dunn and Davis will probably have crazy hitting attributes but probably just have bad speed and fielding which is why they are not 99's. Just like the LS JD Martinez card which was a gold because he had diamond hitting attributes but was common fielding I think. These are two cards that will probably be fine bench cards to hit for you in a big late game situations even though they are not 99's. -
IMO, the real purpose of these cards and the "Run It Back" program, is to help people complete the collections for Mantle and Trout. It also helps players that are joining the game late in the cycle build a competitive team fairly quickly. Personally I think it's a great idea to help players that might otherwise put the game down until next spring stay engaged, which keeps the player pool healthy for us addicts that'll play right up until we install TheShow21.
REALLY hoping we get a Joe Mauer!!!

For sure. Ya people find reasons to complain about almost any card that comes out.
