I'm an IT Support Specialist. I'm the lone IT guy for a building that normally has about 200 people. Currently we have about 50 in the office (the rest wfh due to covid). I just sit around and wait for someone to break their computer basically.

In today's politically charged climate, this seems like a bad thread idea...
I assume you all have mortgages to pay and kids to feed. You never know who is digging through your social media feed from 2008 trying to see if any popular opinion you expressed back then that's heresy now and if it can be used to get you fired from your job.
Remember everyone, your company will sacrifice you the second there's a possibility of bad PR drummed up by newly created anonymous Twitter accounts even, if you've been there for 15 years. That's the world we live in now.

Not necessarily, but considering how easy it is to find people's personal information, it might be the the crucial piece of information that allows people to figure out the company you are with - especially in white collar and higher paying jobs.
