I’ve gotten Soto and Machado, now working on DeGrom and Devin Williams. Anyone else worth going for through team affinity? Bauer, Bieber or Betts worth it? My OF is set with Trout, Mantle, and Cobb or Walker

Nick Anderson, Freddie
Man I swear I didn’t think I was going to like Freddie, but he’s been pretty great
-
Realmuto is not better than Salvador Perez so lets get that straight. Soto Machado Betts are the top 3 hitters and Degrom Bauer Darvish are the top 3 pitchers. I’ve struggles mightily with Williams and Anderson but I know some like them. The worst one IMO is leg kick Lewis

Jake Cronenworth is worthy of mention. Has a great swing.
-
Betts is worth it, elite swing in the game, maxed stats where it counts (v righties) position flexibility is there & obv defense is elite, prestige pushes speed to 75 which is not bad. He doesn't always start for me but it's a fun card.

I agree with most of the names already mentioned. To throw a less known name in, Miguel Rojas. I had no intention of using him when I got him and I get that his numbers aren’t as good as the others, and I’m not suggesting him over the others, but the guy is an on-base machine for me so far. Small sample size too, but with 50 ABs he’s hitting over .500 for me. It’s been crazy.
-
He's been said a few times but besides Soto who is ridiculous, Freddie Freeman is the best hitter in this collection. Now, the event is primarily RHP but he's averaging a HR every 6 AB for me (Soto is 9) and we're at 100 ABs so sample size is decent. Highly, highly recommend.

Pitchers are hit or miss but initially I'm liking Darvish and Bauer for starters and Williams is a great closer. For position players Soto is so good I sold Ted Williams. Then I'd probably go Mookie, machado, Story, Perez, Anderson, DJ.
-
I have them all and have played about 40 event games. Salvy by far is my best card. Hitting .350 with 11 HRS
-
I've been using Freddie Freeman at third base and he's actually made some really good plays over there, including a diving stop and throwing to first while sitting down. Mookie also rakes for me. I'm off to a really slow start with Soto, but sticking with him for now. deGrom is obviously amazing, and I've been using Williams, Anderson and Hendriks in my bullpen and all have been great.
