Corey “weak ground ball” Seager
-
I had some hard hit outs first couple games. From there I had some really bad games with him. Then I looked and realized I was 1-20 something with him and was totally surprised. Last 2 games though he has had a few hard hit singles and doubles and a no doubt left vs lefty HR. I'm not willing to give up on him yet by any means. I try and get closer to 100 swings before I make much decision.

I haven’t used him but have faced him quite a bit. It seems like he crushes balls that are low but not balls up in the zone. Not sure why that would be, but it’s just something I’ve seen from my end. I haven’t used him.
-
My first hit with him was the first pitch I saw. Sent it into the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh. I crush baseball's with him. Maybe it is a mental thing?
-
He either hits it 450 feet or about 6 and a half inches.

Pretty much this right here. He also has some hard line drive outs to the 2nd baseman. To me the down fall of this card is the speed. No way he is that slow irl.
-
he has soooooo many perfect perfect and they are weak flyballs its like WTHHHHHHHH

That’s a real problem, I play him at 2B and is amazing the amount of grounders he cannot gr tto, and let’s not talk about the hard grounders he can’t handle or the errors he has made. I’m seriously thinking about bringing Mookie in to take his spot

I love Mookie. He keeps making it back into my lineup at 2b. Love his swing and he plays above his stats.

I too havent had much luck with Seager. I have hit 2 HRs in about 30-40 games and hitting right around .300. Everyone else is hitting .400 or better
-
I played a ranked game with him last night and hit two homers including a go ahead three run homer! he is a beast for me!
-
He's my 2nd best hitter to Mantle. Close to 200 AB's, OPS of 1.3, hitting just under .400 and hit a 500 foot nuke with him last night.
-
This just goes to show you different strokes for different folks. Seager is my best card ever hands down. Batting .458 with him in over 100 AB everything the dude touches is a screacher. But then Machado for me sucks absolute asz monkey!
-
Me too.
Soto went an astonishing 0-5 in the 'Beat the Tigers on All-Star or higher' mission. Now he's at .143.
I feel your pain. -
I've had so many ground balls to 2nd with him. I'm like 0-15 to start. Have like 5 walks though so the OBP ain't bad at least.
-
My problem with Seager is his speed, I can’t have him in the middle infield and he is not benching Machado at 3B.
I debuted Mookie with a HR and a Double. Seager is about to become a bench bat for me.

Just used him for the first time. HR, Double and plenty of good defensive plays at 2B. Grounders that Seager wouldn’t get to because of his 47 speed. I don’t even think he is that slow IRL
-
He is Horrible for me too .085 and when he faces me he goes 3 fo4 or 4 for 5 stupid man...
-
He's my best bat right now, has 8 HR in 35 AB's, just over 1 every 4 AB's. Small sample size but I'll ride him while he's hot. He and finest Machado rake.
-
Since I benched him 2 HRs already. Sigh
