Machado swing broken?

Is anyone having success with Machado on HOF and above? Through 20 games he is hitting .167 for me and cannot seemingly pull a ball to save his life. He’s the only hitter on my team struggling and the ball always seems to hit the bat late no matter when I swing. Literally every hit he has for me has been oppo
For reference, every other batter on my team is hitting .390 and above during the same time. Lemahieu, Griffey, Betts, Freeman, Soto, etc
Not sure if I should keep giving Machado chances and this is just extremely bad luck with one player

Man I can’t hit with this dude either. Anytime I do connect with the ball it’s a lazy fly or a lineout. I don’t know what all the hype is his swing sucks I sold him back. Carlos Correa way better anyways oh well.

Having trouble with him too. Arenado has basically taken his job for me. I'll give him some more run though.

Not on HOF level, but Manny might be better than Trout for me. Crushing. Takes the ball opposite field with pop. But it makes sense others would struggle. One of the cool things about this game is how different cards can be so different for other players. I can’t hit anything with Mantle for example. Hornsby was trash for me. Ellsbury might be a top 3 hitter for me. To each their own in this game.

Yep. Ellsbury is goated. My proudest moment of this year was prestiging him. And that is my favorite part of this game. Everyone is gonna have players that they thrive with and some players that everyone says are 'meta' that they can't hit with. Tatis is that guy for me.

I commented on another thread that I get a lot of solid oppo contact from Machado, but then I just had a game where he hit 4 pull side HRs for me so I don't even know what to think anymore.

This card makes me want Chipper Flawless so badly! 3 hr 17 hits ba 314 do not like at all!
