Considering Selling Griffey
-
I got him earlier this morning. I’m thinking about taking the 600,000 I could profit and then buying him back later. However, I’m worried that 1, the price won’t drop dramatically; and 2, it’ll be hard to buy him back because most people won’t be selling. I’ll take any opinions you might have on this.

Sell him ASAP! He is going to drop below 200k guaranteed in a few weeks and below 400 in couple days he will not be hard to get back

Thank you! I appreciate your input! I rushed and put in the sell order!

Yeah smart thing selling him early, he will drop. Idk how low, because many will keep him. But still cheaper than what you sold for probably.

There has not been a single boss that hasn’t dropped from their 1st week price. Most at least 50% or more. After about 10 days, it settles more. But he likely won’t end up being more than 200-300k max. Only problem with him being the only boss is the 11th inning voucher only need him to lock in.
-
There’s going to be tons of Griffey’s cause he’s the only boss whereas the other inning programs had three bosses to be divided among all the gamers

Is it guaranteed that an 11th inning is coming ?

If you don’t need the stubssss I’d prolly hold on to him man... I have a sneaky feeling he don’t drop below 400 but that’s me... I’d just be careful.. like Gossage was a 50 win reward and was up for a month and nowwwwww look abhis price it never dropped and now it’s rising... I know it’s two different type of programs but something is tellin me it won’t drop so because I have over a mil stubs I’m holding on to him
-
Do you like Griffey? What would you do with the stubs? Are there players you’ve been wanting to try out that you could afford by selling him?

I hear you; this is exactly the fear I had. I’m just counting on the fact that the Goose was soooo much more work to attain than the Griffey.

I love Griffey! I’m just trying to save stubs just in case Willie Mays/Lefty Grove come out as a WS or BR reward or something and I need to spend a million stubs.

They have been saying for months that there will be 12 innings

I regret selling Goose I just assumed he would drop but Griffey is a lot easier to get so I would sell

I don’t know, man. It makes sense to sell him, but it’s October. How much longer are you going to play? If you love Griffey, use him. I’m a bit of a card hoarder, though, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

It would appear to be if the have a voucher

I'd say sell because his price should get pretty low but we've never had an Inning program like this so there is no precedent to go by.

I’m thinking about buying him and taking a loss, because I’m bored with grinding. I feel like it’s going to take me two more days to get to 300 stars, so I might buy him now at 450k then sell the duplicate copy for about 150k in two days and take the 300k loss. Stubs are totally worthless at this point.

That’s what I did. I’m so tried of the grind, and can flip no more either due to it. But I have about 7 million stubs so I thought “why not”?
