Dodgers WS MVP: Kevin Cash

Legggo Dodgers! Ric Flair Wooooooo

To be fair that’s what they’ve done all year. He said that was what he would before the game even started. It looks bad in retrospect but snell hasn’t pitched 6 full innings in 2 years and his ERA for the year went from 0.90 to 7.00+ after the 4th inning. And OPS against him went up like 250 points the 3rd time through the lineup, which is what was about to happen after he’d already just given up a lead off hit to the #9 hitter in a one run game.
The real mistake in my opinion was replacing Snell with Anderson (who has been awful in the playoffs) instead of a lefty since mookie has been so bad against lefties this year.

If he left Snell in and he gave up a two run bomb, it’s that conversation. No win situation for Cash. At the end of the day, The Rays didn’t have the firepower to win this series.
-
I was pulling for the rays but as soon as the momo pulled Snell, I am glad to see the dumb analytics department get [censored] on for the rest of the night.
Big papi and Arod said it best last night. You can have all the geniuses in one room from Harvard and Yale but if they’ve never played the game it doesn’t help you regardless of what their numbers say. Couldn’t happen to a bigger bunch of Dolts that is the sabermteric backers.

The irony of your post when you consider how The Dodgers put together that lineup

Jeremy Frank aka @mlbrandomstats put it best: “The baseball analytics movement has been set back twenty years by Kevin Cash’s managing that didn’t really follow analytics.” It’s not about the benefit of hindsight and whether Snell would or wouldn’t have given up the runs. When a pitcher is dominating that much you’re supposed to leave them in.
-
If Anderson close the inning. Cash become genuise. People are just dump.
-
Snell hasn't gone deep into a start for a long time, they said it during the game. It would have been his third time facing the heart of the dodgers lineup and I am fairly certain that was why he was pulled. If I was Cash, I would have left him in for at least one more batter just to see what happens and go from there.
-
he never pitched that long... he just gave up a screamin line drive to the 9 hole hitter, and then the best hitters in baseball (well 2 of the top 3) were coming up to bat to see the same pitcher for the third time..
if you remember game 3 which seems like everyone forgot... Snell pitched 4.2 innings STRUCK OUT 9 and gave up two runs... this is what the rays did all year... its what got them here...
give the dodgers credit and the REAL Mvp Corey Seager
-
I dont know.
The rays offense besides like two players barely produced any runs this world series. You can't win if you don't score.

He died on his Analytical sword.Cash is now an EBT card.
Moron.That slubberdegullion.

Its a conspiracy. The MLB knew they couldn't play a game 7 after Turner tested positive so they called up the Rays and told them they had to lose that game
-
Two facts: Snell was "Dealing" and Mookie shreds RH's, so leave Snell in. Mookie is on the short list of "guys who can steal home on a grounder to first"!

Welcome to Roberts world. Roberts got out Robertsed..
