In response to the obligatory humble brag post from the people that think they should never lose.
Didn't say I should never lose. I've lost 161 times in Ranked season. If you can't see the point of my post then I really don't value your input whatsoever. Keep defending the game and let's see where that gets us
I put forth no defense of the game. I'm just pointing out that posts like these give off a sense of entitlement.
"I'm so awesome look at my fantastic timing only to be screwed by the defense. How dare my crappy opponent beat me when they can only muster cheap hits?"
That's what these types of threads sound like. Maybe I've got you all wrong but that's seemingly the attitude of a lot of the posters on this board. Like it's some crime against nature when they lose or hit into bad luck. The same people that complain about getting screwed out of hits, are the same ones with guys hitting 400 throughout their lineup.
You're not going to quit playing the game and no one would really care if you did.

Ok, so SDS put that in the game for no reason at all? The feedback is there for us to look at. I'm tired of everyone using your same line. So either SDS admits they have no idea WTF they are doing in regards to the hitting engine or I will keep looking at the feedback.

I think the underlying issue with this game is that pitching is so broken and sds has either decided to ignore it all year or intended it to be that way. When the game first came out hitting felt pretty rewarding until people complained that it was too op. But in reality that wasn’t the issue. Regardless of input/pitcher confidence/pitcher attributes, the pitching in this game is completely random. Instead of fixing the pitching they tweaked the hitting and ended up with a game where both pitching and hitting outcomes feel very random

In all honesty it’s a broken game. I’m not gonna pretend to know how or why things play the way they do but we all experience the awfulness that is online play. One game you can’t do any wrong, Everything drops & you beat someone who’s 45-6. Then the next day you get 2 hits against someone whose 25-47. There is just a massive feeling that it’s mostly dice rolls that determine each game’s outcome.

yeah i mean that is exactly your bigger problem - you are looking at stupid metrics and whatever SDS decided to do with that part of the game
you need to listen closely and read slowly - who cares what the reason SDS put that in the game, it is a stupid metric. just play the game.

So the guy disagrees with you, says you're being rude, says that an SDS staff member confirmed the PCI results are there for us to use and learn from and you call him / us "baby baby" for arguing our points. Ok. Welp...don't really think I'll be taking anything you say into consideration from this point forward.

See it must be hard to even read these threads from up there on that high horse.
Those things are accurate according to an SDS employee, so I’ll take these word for it. It’s apart of the game so why not look at it? It helps people improve their gameplay.
The beautiful thing though is you can ignore it and move on. OP was happy to discuss things in a mature manner but here you are happy to hop on a talk [censored]. It’s funny because I don’t see you creating threads about positive things and active on threads talking about things YOU think should be discussed nearly as much as I see you adding toxicity to these threads, calling everyone a baby for a couple likes. I hate that this place is flooded with negativity as much as the next guy but I’m not going to be a complete asshole to people that want to express what they think about the game.

The game is just not fun anymore. Ranked seasons is a complete joke. Just played a game where I was losing 4-0 off of HR's that were PCI's of 11/11/11/12.
The guys was several games under .500 and was batting below .250 with over half his lineup.
Meanwhile I get to lineout and groundout on and hit warning track shots with 15/14 PCI's. It just isn't fun when people get rewarded for consistently bad gameplay and you're doing everything that you are supposed to to win the game.
Anyone else about fed up and done with it ?
Been fed up since official launch ( not pre order). I hit 4-5 a game to the track with “good” feedback 14/15.... always been trash. I normally win 6-2 due to 2 off the plate or bad placement contacts for bombs

I happen to agree it’s a great baseball game, maybe in need of some big fixes, but I still enjoy it. In fact, I never once stated my opinion in this thread so what are you going on about? I just pointed out how you’re being toxic, calling people names, and that you were spreading bad information. I’m done with your nonsense lol. Have a good one.
