There is just something about teams from Atlanta blowing leads. This is a completely different outcome if it wasn’t for the baserunning blunders early IMO
That was definitely huge.
Still gotta give credit to the Dodgers though for making the plays and being mindful to turn it into a double play.
See SDS, sense of urgency on crucial plays, lol.

Absolutely. That was a huge play that completely flipped the game around. I don’t think the braves even got a hit after that inning. Mookie, Bellinger, and Pollock in the outfield is one of the best defensive outfields I’ve ever seen

Yeah. That crazy double play changed the entire game. What are the odds of that even playing out? That's like some RNG "The Show is rigged" comeback logic in play there.

I think the game changer was the Mookie Betts catch and the double play.
Let me put it this way, if that catch is made on me during MTO or Showdown i'm tossing my controler.

A lot of things went our way. May escaping the 1st with only 1 run given up. The double play. the catch.

The Braves will beat the dodgers eventually... They battled this far with out their Ace, some unlucky plays and some hard hit outs and they're in the series... Also they braves got unlucky, Roberts smartened up and didn't put Kershaw in a hight pressure situation in a big game.

Dodgers are loaded and have came up short many times, but if they lose to a Braves team like this, or maybe even SD it wouldnt have been that awful of an upset.

Yes, completely different pressure then a team that lost game 7 of the WS last year, won the WS recently, 4 straight ALCS,and had some casual, not so intelligent baseball fans think they only were good because of the way they stole signs. That is some pressure. Especially considering only about 7 or 8 of the 25 man roster for that team still plays there.
Dodgers pressure, which I dont disagree is plenty, could be comparable to the Yankees. Lots of big names and lots of money spent. -

The Yankees just went a decade without winning and spent big on Cole, the Twins are on the worst playoff skid in professional sports history, the Braves hadn’t won a playoff series in almost 2 decades, the Marlins were trying to remain unbeaten in the playoffs, and the Astros are the elephant in the room. There’s no doubt they could feel everyone outside of Houston praying for their downfall.

That double play was by far the most pivotal. If that mess doesn’t happen, it doesn’t mean the Braves will execute and knock in RISP with less than 2 outs, but the odds sure do go up.
I told my wife that I had never seen a team get such a momentum swing after they gave up the lead in a tie ball game. It was deflating.

Those things happened to me yesterday, where the opponent in RS made game saving catches. I was about to scream. Ok, I did scream. lol
To be 100% honest, I am rooting for the Rays. Sorry Dodgers fans, but I love how the Rays team is built, and kind of want the Dodgers to lose another WS.
