I got the game at $25 and I feel I got ripped off. I have been playing The Show since maybe the PS2 days. I love 19 and the gameplay but this year's game is making me hate the game. The hitting timing is worse to compare last year if I see the ball, I swing but it tells me that I am late or early, no matter what the pitch speed is. Everyone kept on spamming 100 mph fastballs and sinkers where you would need ninja like reflexs to hit the ball and even if you time the ball correctly, your PCI screws you up. I am not having fun with this game and I am disappointed.
    P.S.
To get Mickey Mantle, you would need to spend around $300 dollars just to get the most expensive cards or get lucky with the packs. SDS is becoming EA's little brother.

SDS is literally nothing like EA. They are literally shoving free stubs down everyones throat this year. There are some gameplay issues like any game but to act like they don't hand packs and stubs out like candy is ridiculous.

I have every card in the game except 99 Jones and spent no extra money.

I didn’t buy this game day one or have a 12-0 battle royal session or reached World Series. I am not god-tier so yeah it’s impossible for someone who is casual to Mickey mantle

Oh yeah a thousand stubs per level up could help to a 400,000 stubs degrom!

I got MLBTS 16 on Black Friday that year and had Ted (that years Mantle) before January.

There are some cards in the game, like Mantle, where you would either need to grind a lot, flip a lot, or win a lot and sell the rewards. But you can still field a very competitive team without necessarily doing much of the things I mentioned above. It might just not to be the name recognition cards you might want. I have Mantle and Trout and can get pretty much any other card I want. That’s all with no money spent. Having said all that, and to your main point, I also generally find this game pretty depressing. But it has nothing to do with what cards I’m using. Actually, I guess I’m at the stage that happens after depression. My feeling toward the game is more of a melancholy acceptance of the way things are instead of the sorrow and frustration I used to feel.

I would say 90% of thr players that have Mantle this year didn't put that much money into the game. This was the easiest year by far to get the LS collection done without spending money

This post is how depressed I feel when playing this game to compare last year where I had fun. Ranked season is kinda broken, why is it I facing a high level prestige when I am low level silver?

Look I understand that but I don’t understand why degrom or verlander is so expensive. Nolan Ryan is cheaper then them.

Because you need them to get Mantle. You don't NEED Nolan Ryan to unlock anyone. Essentially you are paying for Mantle not the actual player.

The best cards in the game come at a cost. Time or money. You can't buy the game late and expect to have the same cards as someone who's grinded from day 1. I would love to have all the good cards too, I just don't have the time or money to get them.

What I like is that there are plenty of affordable diamonds that you can purchase off the market and still put together a decent team and compete.

That's the way it is and if you don't like it move on to another game.

I’m no money spent and I got mantle. Hell if you do the run it back showdown and conquest your making 20k an attempt after you collect all The cards. I’m sitting at 620000 stubs and I’m gonna just keep grinding those.
