As I stated in my original post... most of you that seem to not mind portend to be “great skilled players”, some of us are not and occasionally jump into a game and occasionally have an outstanding game or achievement that we’d like to have count. You all that don’t mind, fine... but you do not speak for everyone who plays the game. Have your opinion, that is just as valid as mine, but do not discount my point.
I am deserving of those stats and it’s like stealing... they are being stolen away via CHEATING!
THERE IS A WAY TO QUIT HONORABLY BY CHOOSING QUIT GAME IN THE MENU, NOT THIS “DASHBOARDING”. IT IS NOT THE SAME AT ALL!
Again, I think the “active” play should complete, then disconnect if “dashboarded”. This will at least give player what they earned justly.
And seriously, enough with this “I don’t care...” You will care when it makes a difference in some of the achievements you must earn in the game taking you hour and hours more to complete!

The fundamental problem that most people have with your posts is that you don’t understand what the word “cheating” means, but we’re clearly not going to change your mind, so whatever... Keep yelling at the clouds.

So enlighten me all mighty one as to how dashboarding is not cheating? Is it an in game function or does it require the player to actively, purposely unplug/disconnect to escape the game? Again, the fundamental problem with your response is your understanding that whatever is outside normal circumstances of the game to disconnect purposely to avoid negative stats is in fact cheating at its very core.
And btw, I am not the only one who has posted that feels this way. I like all the energy spent on justifying cheating instead of responding with ways to improve or eliminate this issue regardless if YOU care or not.

I will say once again, if you are having a terrible game or otherwise would like to exit the game for whatever reason, there is a way to do that with integrity and honest gameplay without CHEATING! Hit pause, and exit game correctly through the menu... it accomplishes what you want without CHEATING others out of stats they EARNED! The game itself is the arbiter of the outcomes, not you.

Dude, this is NOT cheating!! I’m not saying you’re opinion doesn’t matter, I’m just saying you’re wrong!!

Again, you have failed to answer/address my statement above... there is a valid way to exit the game without CHEATING!
And for those of you that complain I am looking for “vanity” hr’s or stats, let me remind you I earned those stats and cheaters do not get to decide when and what to take away.

For those who do not know the meaning of the word CHEAT/CHEATER/CHEATING... here, this will help you comprehend the words meaning. Pretty much all the definitions apply to this action of “dashboarding” without a doubt!

I THINK THIS PUTS AN END TO THE CHEATING DEFINITION DEBATE

Definition of cheat (Entry 1 of 2)
    transitive verb
1 : to deprive of something valuable by the use of deceit or fraud
cheated the elderly couple out of their property
2 : to influence or lead by deceit, trick, or artifice
a young man who cheated young women into marrying him when he was already married
3 : to elude or thwart by
    intransitive verb
1a : to practice fraud or trickery
denied the accusation that he cheated
b : to violate rules dishonestly

From Websters... hmm, “to violate rules dishonestly”, “ to deprive of something valuable by the use of deceit or fraud”

    Seems reasonable to me... 🥁💯❗️✔️

There is no deceit going on or fraud, its very much in the open, so you are wrong there. So 1 is wrong

"Too influence", you are not influenced to doing anything, so 2 is wrong.

If there was a rule against quitting, I think you would have a very thin case, sadly last I knew there is no rule against quitting, so even that my friend is wrong.

Again I hate dashboarding, but it is not a form of cheating no matter how much you hate it or want it to be. Cheating is not the right word, your definitions actually prove that. I am of course sorry that you will disagree with me and will continue to cry about it, but you can't just take half of the sentence in the definition.

Dishonest fool... again not comprehending the meaning of the word and the action. I am not crying, I just find it unbelievable that you argue “dashboarding” instead of quitting the game without cheating someone from stats they earned and not counted against is anything but. But keep trying... your crushing it! Maybe we can wipe out your stats or better yet do any nefarious thing we want in the game because there is a way! So stupid to have this come to a squabble over this. It’s not just HR’s, it’s ANY STATISTICAL MEASURE THE GAME ACCUMULATES PER PLAYERS HISTORICAL GAMEPLAY! IF THAT IS INFRINGED ON IN ANY WAY NEFARIOUSLY, IT IS CHEATING THE STATS!
I will find a way to pose this question to SDS and post their response as to whether “dashboarding” PURPOSLY is CHEATING or not. If they intended for gamers to skew statistics brazenly by ANYTHING other than a true internet/electrical/console issue or if **PURPOSELY ** resetting, disconnecting or otherwise is not a violation of some sort which identifies as cheating.
You aren’t anything but a wise guy... keep up with the charade that this does not matter... UNTIL THE GAMEPLAY CHANGES TO WHERE IT DOES MATTER STATS HAVE A SIGNIFICANT GAMEPLAY MEANING!

Will post that response soon whether I am proved right or wrong according to SDS.

I eagerly await to hear a response from SDS, dashboarding was a major problem with 17, after that they started to get away from online stats towards programs, now with Prestige Diamonds, online stats are back. So dashboarding could be a factor again.

    intransitive verb
1a : to practice fraud or trickery

b : to violate rules dishonestly

Let me make it as simple as possible for you to understand.

    1. Game allows it, it is not cheating.
2 No rules says you can not power off your PS4 anytime you want, this is not debatable because SDS has no control over PS4 powering off.
3 the fact that you get the W it is not cheating,
4 if this is cheating, the exploits people use to (cheese) themselves to a win would be cheating.

    What would be Cheating?
    Boosting is consider cheating
    Transferring stubs is cheating
Hacking the system cheating and more
    Breaking MLBTS rules

You can exit the game any way the game allows you to by personal choice

    1. no one deprived you of something valuable, stats are not valuable. Dashboarding is not deceit or fraud. It is quitting in an unconditional way.
    2. Did not influence anything or anyone. did not trick you by quitting.
    3. Just quit that is not fraud or trickery
1a. Nothing to deny, if anything he/she helped you out by giving you a win
1b. No rules were violated none are in place, quitting is not dishonest.

Now you can tell me how I am wrong with the same thing you been trying to convince everyone that disagree with you.

The game has a “quit” option and that’s through the menu. Not “dashboarding” so your stats are not negatively affected. It’s irrelevant whether you deem them as “valuable” or not, that is up to the player whom is being cheated of those stats.
REMEMBER, I PAID MONEY FOR MY GAME. YOU DIDN'T PURCHASE IT FOR ME!
    Ones that:
    May contribute completing a challenge
May contribute completing a players level up/down
Help you make performance decisions for you to build a roster that works for your gameplay

It’s amazing the extent people go in justifying cheating.

Whining “I can do what I want, no rule excludes me from powering off or... my console” wah wah wah.
So continue to justify cheating in the game we all love (or we wouldn’t be even debating this) until it TRULY DOES COUNT and becomes a much bigger PITA!
    TRUCE

I do not deem them anything, I was proving your definitions to be incorrect. Dashboarding has nothing to do with a players level of up and down, they do not move from an 85 or 86 base on your play with them. Making performance decision has nothing to do with dashboarding. 2019 had no stat missions for online play until the end of the life cycle. Most playing RS have one Goal and that is to make WS. Keep trying

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAAH This is a true statement I can do what I want, no rule excludes me from powering off or... my console” You are the only one crying over stats. there is way more exploits that need to be fix. Keep on Keeping on with the TEARS.

To the OP, in one of your posts you say that people are attacking you and saying things to you and yet posts a little later you are attacking other people. I actually thought that this was a troll post and I'm actually kind of shocked that it's not.

I have no dog in this fight whatsoever but to see someone this twisted up over a few video game home runs is kind of alarming to me.

The only thing worse than cheating is those who defend it. Although I suspect many of this forum’s trolls are the cheaters themselves.
