Great work, man. Appreciate all the effort put into this and I hope this is similar to what they give us.
I echo this sentiment. Well done OP!

I think the Braves will be ozuna and Freddie freeman will get the top 1B seeing that he will likely be the NL MVP
You're likely right. I can't remember if we got the top DH last year.
Considering Abreu has a 98 overall Topps Now, he may not get a Finest card, unfortunately.
Good list tho, I don’t have to the time to think about every tam lol. I hope you’re right about the henchman, I like that idea.

Tim Anderson has to be for the WhiteSox
-
Really nice. This theory is why I'm avoiding locking in any of the current extended collections that dropped last week.
-
I hope you’re wrong on Kim. His stuff doesn’t translate to a usable card, even a high 90s. Also on Cards, I don’t believe they have Slaughter’s rights this year. No cards yet.
Great work overall. I just hope it isn’t finest. Too many of those players already have cards in the 90s. Not sure any would even make my team at this point.

Why not Jose Abreu? He is in the running for MVP. I agree it's either him or Tim Anderson.
-
this would be incredible, if they also inlcuded Henchman!!!
-
This would be a cool way to clan up some of the legends we haven’t gotten such as Morris, Dunn, Slaughter, Spahn, and Ashburn. Really nice list. Only criticism is that they aren’t going to be releasing 90+ overall breakout cards at this stage. Almost all of them would probably be signature, Prime, or awards IMO

Just for the simple fact that Jose’s highest card is a 97 and Anderson’s is an 88

Very good point, we do need a good Tim Anderson card i agree

I had fun with his 88 card early on...

Thats a great card, it was fun last year too. I really like his swing so if he gets a 97/98 card it could be really fun.

Yeah, the early portion of the list kinda got a bit screwy in places. I don't see how they could reasonably drop Rookie, Breakout, Impact Vet series at this point in the cycle.
I think that's a product of all cards that are released at this stage of the game's life-cycle are going to be at least 92 overall or above.

I had the hardest time finding a good candidate for their Finest card and their hypothetical "Henchman," too. When I made this, I knew that Slaughter didn't have a card released yet so I should've assumed they didn't retain his rights from last year.
Looking back on it now, I think it would make a lot more sense for Kolten Wong to get the Finest card. It's just that everyone seemingly has an OPS under .700 except Goldschmidt, so it's not much fun to think about (sorry!)
As for the "Henchman" -- I don't know why I didn't think of this at the time-- but a mid-90s overall Jason Isringhausen would be pretty awesome and he hasn't gotten a follow-up to the card that you got from the team collection.

Izzy definitely could be one. And I agree on the finest one. Bad season for my boys all around. Again, great job!
