Graterol may throw the most effortless looking 100 mph pitch ive ever seen.

Manny is obnoxious. He really cant take it when someone else celebrates.

    Can't say you're wrong.

Yeah, but that dude rakes and can pick it with anyone. Right now, who’s a better one two punch than Tatis and machado?

They're a combined 2 for 16 so far in this series. I'll take Betts and Seager.

So Manny throws his bat and yells "Let's fuking go!" while still at home plate after a HR that still has them losing, but he wants to cry when the opposing pitcher celebrated a game saving catch by his CF 🤷🏼‍♂️

Manny is just a softy, crying at Graterol like he stepped on his heel or something 🤭

I don’t have any problem with the act of celebrating. My problem is that the hat and glove throw was extremely lame. Not very James Bond.

    Same.
What I can't stand are the celebrations on base. The salt shaker, the pointing, the claw, etc. after a double or triple. I can do without those celebrations.
I love emotion in sports but the base ones are the lamest.

My view of the issue is, if batters can celebrate homers (doing bat flips, etc), then pitchers should be able to celebrate too.

Belli made a spectacular catch that prevented a go-ahead home run. Put yourself in Graterol's shoes: doesn't that feel awesome, knowing that your defense has your back (in the best way possible)?

Tbh, Manny Machado's always been a hothead. He's got talent make no mistake, but he's got a short temper. Remember when he got tagged out by Donaldson years back? He reminds me of Jared Weaver sometimes––needs to chill.

After Cody's spectacular catch. was it too much? Can't both teams celebrate? I see Machado jumping up and down after his home run. Whats the deal?

With how crazy the bat flip has been the last decade I wish even more pitchers showed that type of emotion on the mound. Throwing his glove was a bit odd but whatever.

I’m just gonna say it, it’s like the “unwritten rules” were created for stuff like this or something but who knows....

Tatis needs to thank Ruben Tejada for being stupid cause that’s the reason he’s able to get away with bat flipping and acting like he does. If the slide rule was still around tatis would be getting punished and learn why the unwritten rules existed. Sure swing 3-0 bases loaded up big, I’ll just not ease up on breaking up a double play down big. Machado is just a immature punk and has shown it his whole career

I'm a Padre fan here but I'm also more of an old school guy when it comes to this kind of stuff. I can't say that I'm a huge fan of all the celebrating, dancing, bat flipping and all that. However, I do realize that that's just pretty much the direction baseball, and all sports for that matter are heading. Yes, the Padres celebrate probably just about as much as any team in baseball so they have no right to complain about another team celebrating, 100% agree. I would say the difference in this case is, bat flipping and other dugout antics after a HR are pretty common nowadays in the game of baseball. A pitcher giving up a 407 foot bomb that would have been a HR if it wasn't for his CF making one of the all time playoff catches and then throwing his glove, throwing his hat, and blowing kisses to the oppositions dugout is not common. I think that's where the Padres have some beef. Sure, it is just celebrating just like the Padres and many other teams do, you just don't typically see that type of reaction from a pitcher.

That’s a good one. I don’t watch the Braves enough to comment. I guess I’ll have a better idea a week from today. Good luck to the Braves but...

    Go dodgers!!!

So far so good for the Braves. Not so hot my Dodgers.
