say something nice about this game

I love the game. I don’t feel it ever gets stale. Just some animation and frame rate tweaks. Some of the online lag is annoying but they can’t really control that. This is my first year playing DD and I love it

As a below-average player, I feel like this game gives me more than enough content and more than enough rewards for my best efforts.
-
I love this game and have no major complaints about content or gameplay. There’s always something to work on when I turn it on.

Content and that’s it

Don't hate the game, hate the player...

This game is very generous with walks...in moments where you need hits.

This game has been a great stress reducer for everything that has gone on this year. It's nice to come home and be able to get a few games in be against the CPU or head to head against someone else and just decompress. I think without MLB 20 this year then 2020 would have been even rougher at least for me.

The collections and the pursuit of trying to gain all purchaseable cards - NMS style - helps satisfy my OCD tendencies. Plus, I actually liked sort of being "forced" to play online if I want to Prestige certain cards. I lose so many games but I'm used to it and I enjoy trying various/weird lineups.
One of my goals is to put a "Big Man" lineup together - dudes like Willians Astudillo, Jesus Aguilar, "Big Panda" Sandoval, that FA Matt Albers if he's still around, etc. But we need cards like Prince Fielder, Lance Berkman & Bartolo "Big Sexy" Colon to throw in the mix! Don't much like the Yanks, but give me a big 'ol CC Sabathia and I'd throw him in the mix! Carlos Lee!

I think the gameplay has been greatly improved especially in the fielding department outside of them screwing with perfect perfect exit velos in the very first patch. Content has been the best it ever has been imo

I absolutely concur on all points!! This game has allowed me to find a bright spot in all of this filth that is 2020. The SDS dudes, in their own right, are "baseball therapists."

It was there this year when I had alot of free time early, I've met some great people through it, and the gameplay is pretty good 90%ish of the time. Def my favorite video game franchise
-
The quality and volume of the content is A+, fastballs are more usable this year than they've been in years, and I've met some really great people through the community

MLB the Show 20 is really a nice game.

Nice things about this game for me:
- Stubs, stubs, stubs.
- We actually get to choose our starting pitcher.
- The crack of the bat when I get a good hit. No better feeling than knowing you hit it out before the ball even gets there.
- It serves as a distraction from 2020 in general.
- Ty Cobb.

This right here.

The disc slides really easy into the slot on the PS4!!
seriously though! the amount of stubs received has been great! Got Mantle and about to get Trout later tonight and spent $0 on stubs. not much flipping either.
Content has been good!
On the negative...i'll say it again Showdown and Moments can go walk off a flippin' cliff!

I've actually made some friends and met good people online because of this game.
