Billy Wagner buy orders

But people that have 1m stubs aren't sinking it into one pitcher.
It's the multi millionaire guys.
There's NO WAY that 39 orders are 30+ people. It's a way to have stubs in the market, but not hit the cap of stubs in hand.
What's the cap this year? Used to be 2 million
You're overthinking this and reaching for something that isn't there. 39 buy orders is not crazy or unrealistic at all. Even 100 orders wouldn't be unrealistic at all. People are loaded and don't care about dropping stubs.

Let's agree to disagree.
You're avoiding the issue of stub caps, alternate accounts and market manipulation.
I'm ignoring your opinion that everybody has over 1m stubs and wants Billy Wagner.
4 orders in the last 48 hours have filled. If I've hit a stub cap, I'm dumping 1m buy orders in for a card that will never fall below 900k. I'll swing buys and sells between my accounts because, I've got nothing else to do.
When BR cards first drop every cycle, the first 2-3 pages of BR cards are buys and sells concurrent at the time stamp.

I think the stub cap is 5 million. I didn't address it because I think it's irrelevant. People have nothing to spend on, everyone has Mantle and everyone has Trout. Inning bosses aren't all that expensive, most BR reward cards are not worth it. Wagner is one of few dominant lefties who is always in high demand, even last year when he was an inning boss.
More importantly if your theory is true, which I know it's not, and people stash their stubs like this, I still wouldn't see the problem of them doing that. It will basically cost them 100K per transaction, because everyone who goes flawless will keep the 1st Wagner and sell every next one for a cool 1 million a pop. And so these "alternate accounts" buy up all the cards only to repost them and if it sells, another 100K evaporates.

Your assumptions are for 1- people you know and 2- people on TSN.
Less than 5% of the game population has over 1m stubs. I'd bet it's less than 1%.
If you have 4,950,000 stubs, you bury buy orders in for 1,000,000 for cards not available. It's been happening for years, no matter the cap.
I feel bad for anyone that wants a Wagner card now. They'll never see one until January.

I'll say it again for the people in the back; you're reaching. Prove it or shut it.

Go back to the 2m cap and 500,000 stub market limit.
-
I’m sitting on 3.8 million stubs because there’s nothing to spend stubs on. The buy orders jump every Friday after cards get upgraded and hundreds of new millionaires are made. This is one of the weakest takes I’ve read.
Edit: Also no one uses a million stub card to put extra stubs, you’ll lose 10% automatically. There’s plenty of better ways to hold excess stubs.
-
If people were really stub conscious, they wouldn’t buy Wagner only to lose 100,000 stubs automatically with the 10% tax
-
Thankfully the people with common sense have arrived.

Same can be said to you. You don't work for SDS and don't have meta data to prove YOUR point.

If they are moving 15m stubs, they don't give AF.
Newsflash, At least 20 accounts exist that run BR on alt accounts and transfer stubs.
It's ok to pretend it doesn't exist. That's on you.

I knew you would resort to that point, because that's what everyone does when things get tough. That's not how things work though, YOU make a claim, YOU provide evidence to back up your claim and prove you're right. Me being unable to prove the opposite does not make you right. You learn this in pre school, or at least I did. All I did was say that everything works fine and how it's supposed to. Now I'm the one who has to prove that? Only in your universe buddy.
-
Why wouldn’t they put in two orders for 500k? A million stub order if it gets filled is worth 900k max. Two 500k orders will never get filled and will still be worth a million.

Doesn't make him wrong either...this response sounds pre-school

This guy gets it. Its very simple

regardless of skill level.
I resemble that remark... I'm average at best and have been carrying over 1m since I earned Mantle.

I paid 1m for Wags the first week he was out and don't regret it. Had over 3m stubs with nothing to spend it on and just grabbed him. At this point in the game cycle he's the elite card worth buying if you have excess. He's the ultimate "I'm rich" Flex coming out of the pen.
Some may be stub transfers but im not shocked theres that many buy orders, RIB packs are going to inflate the market.

Like I said earlier, the same thing happened with Bryce Harper in 17. Everyone had the stubs, everyone wanted him but he was never available. I think I sold like 10 of them when I went on a BR tear and made so many stubs it was actually ridiculous. Same thing is happening here, nothing shady going on at all. But it's more exciting to reach for some nonsense and tinfoil hat theories.

It’s all impossible to prove without someone saying “I do this, here’s evidence” but we can use logic. It would be like if a team was batting .282 in 2017 but this year only batted .241 with the same core group of players and we called them cheaters. The numbers are suspect but you’d need a player to step forward and admit to wrongdoing before you knew for sure.
-
It’s simple. supply and demand. Same thing for the Postseason gold cards, just a smaller scale.
If someone has hit a stub cap, they just place buy orders and leave them, and certainly not for a price where the order would get filled and lose the stubs. I use Casey Mize and Billy Wagner as my “stub bank” all the time. No transfers involved.
