Best player in MLB not named Trout?

I’m a big Trevor Story and Nolan Arenado fan, of course. But this is how I see it:

Trout is No. 1. Soto is probably the best pure hitter not named Trout (maybe is anyway). Betts is probably the best all-around player not named Trout.

Last year at this time, Yelich and Bellinger would have had a case to argue. But watch for Acuna, Tatis and Robert in the future.

Best pitcher, give me deGrom. Let’s see Bieber do it a little longer.

Robert who can’t touch a slider.

That's something you can learn though. Bellinger couldn't hit a slider early on either and evolved into the NL MVP the next season. What matters is potential and Robert arguably has the most in all of MLB, he has all the tools and nobody knows what his ceiling will be.

Good luck with that. Dude is just too big for baseball, him and Stanton can't stay healthy and rarely have for an entire season.
