Classic Stadiums to add for 2021
-
Starting a suggestion list. Please add 1) Stadium Name and 2) Brief Reasoning.
Also- any idea how this community gets developers to listen?
-
Baker Bowl (Philadelphia). The tin wall in RF would be great to smash hits off.
-
Braves Stadium (Boston). Really interesting dimensions!
-
Tiger Stadium (Detroit). The iconic roof. Everyone seems to want it!
There are many obvious others but I would love to hear from group!
-
-
Houston Astrodome - First indoor stadium and 8th wonder of the world
-
Gotta get Ebbets Field!
-
Gotta get Ebbets Field! Having a reflection of Fenway Park would be awesome.
-
TIGER STADIUM. Amen!
-
Veterans Stadium
The Baker Bowl (Philly)
Three Rivers Stadium
Olympic Stadium (Montreal)
Comiskey Park
Candlestick Park (supposedly the worst baseball stadium ever.....i wanna play there)
The Kingdome
Mile High Stadium
Arlington Stadium
Riverfront Stadium
Memorial Stadium
Tiger Stadium
Busch Field
and my #1 stadium to add---THE ASTRODOME!!!
If you want to get crazy --
The first world series was played at a place called"Huntington Avenue Grounds"
That would be cool. It supposedly had a tool shed in deep center that was "in play". HA!
When the Red Sox built Fenway, they also supposedly just took all the grass from here.
Seems like some serious lost history.I love old stadiums, so im happy every time they add a new one. There may be better ones than these, i just wanted to put down all the places i could think of....
Great post. I hope we get more old stadiums!

All I want is the classic Fenway But Sadly, SDS won't add stadiums unless they absolutely have to (new stadium for a current team). Perhaps one day it will be there. I wouldn't be shocked to see a classic Tigers stadium or Comisky though. Fenway is considered boring I guess, now that I think about it.

My vote is for Tiger Stadium and Ebbets field......or any other classic old school park that was torn down decades ago.

Create a stadium (With sensible limitations on dimensions and building huge walls around the outfield) is the obvious answer here. Then allow creations to be uploaded to the vault as with rosters so we can design our own classic stadiums.
-
Even if it's impossible (or financially impractical) for them to get the rights to more classic stadiums, I would at least like to see some more / new minor league stadiums. I mean, if you don't have Ebbets or Tiger Stadium, at least give us something that looks/plays like them.
-
It sucks but the stadiums we have no are all we are going to get for the next few years, they are not going to add anymore, other than brand new MLB stadiums they have not added any other minor league, classic, or even spring training stadiums in years

Gotta make room for more shiny content!

thats where all their focus goes, DD content, they aren't going to waste time and resources researching and implementing new stadiums into games, especially all the collision detection and detail thats needed for such additions.... I feel that year 2 or 3 into the next generation consoles we could possibly see created stadium or custom stadium which could possibly see the addition of classic stadiums

Agreed. Content is great......it really truly is!!! But its time to address some gameplay issues. Unfortunately, until they have a legit competitor, they are only gonna address what makes them money, and thats content.
