Just beat showdown extreme!

Anybody got a guide for these. Maybe the pitchers, situations?
I started with Leiter and then it went McKay and now I’m up against Paxton.
First two for me were on veteran. The first one is score three before 10 outs. The second one was score 7 before 20 outs. You start with your leadoff guy on second and your No. 2 guy at the plate.
Starting the third and it’s All-Star and you need to score 3 before 12 outs.
Just like any other Showdown. The best strategy is to cross your fingers and hope the RNG doesn't take away too many hits

Not sure if anyone leaves baserunning to the CPU I just tried out for the first time it's a MASSIVE NO-NO almost lost the final because any time I got on they were stealing and got caught. I only needed 1 and had 6 outs left I think next 3 who hit singles ran thankfully hit HR with Robert.

I've had assisted baserunning off all year ever since I got killed in earlier Showdowns. Player-team baserunners are way to aggressive in Showdown.

I’m on my 4th boss and three lefties.... ugh
Luzardo, Paxton and Chapman

I finished it first time. I actually couldn't believe it. The only one that gave me trouble was Feller, who was my opponent in the step before Pearson. Feller had me down to my final out before Trey Mancini LS hit a two-run jack to win it. I was pumped. I beat Pearson pretty easy. He's wild and will walk guys if you can hold off the heat and be patient.
The pitchers I ended up facing were Leiter, McKay, Paxton, Smoltz (closer edition, so you can work his pitch count), Feller and Pearson. I am guessing that no matter the pitcher you face, the situation stays the same for each step regarding difficulty, runs behind, etc.
I did have a couple where I had a runner on to start (and I think they tell you in the description before you enter the game). It was always the leadoff guy on second and then the No. 2 hitter was up. In those case (I didn't do this, but you can). Put your pitcher as your leadoff batter and then start your lineup from there. You can then pinch-run for the pitcher who is on second and pinch-hit, if wanted, when that spot comes to the plate. And, as always with showdowns, positions don't matter. You don't play defense. Put your best hitters out there regardless of position.

Good Luck! Took that MFer Pearson to 190 pitches on the final! No energy with 12 outs remaing and only down 3 runs... and he finished it off with all the confidence in the world and never lost 1 mph speed.

Yeah I just faced Hoffman, 100 pitches and he was dotting with zero energy and no confidence. Honestly I know it’s extreme but [censored] if they have zero confidence then they shouldn’t be able to throw a strike

Hoffman was batting practice for me. Had my 9 runs with still 18 outs to go

I want the original lineup where I had Jay Buhner and Ryan Klesko...I skipped to the final showdown by mistake and had to start over. The rounds are easy AF until you get to the last two showdown where it must be on HOF or Legend. I can't touch Bob Feller! Only went through 2 controllers, but now I have the third. And you know what they say...third time is fkn charm lmao.

I haven’t played in about 3 weeks, waiting for a Yelich MVP card. Decided to try the showdown... easy preezy lemon squeezy! Did it on the first try. Chapman at 130 pitchers was the only hard one. The HOF ones seemed super easy, even beat Feller on 3 batters.
