    Home made?
You're talented. I wouldn't even know what materials to use.

I'd have to agree, that is pretty impressive. Dudes like MacGyver.....see how many get that reference.

MacGyver could make an atomic bomb with a cigarette and a plastic bag lol...

Yes he could have, all while playing the show 20 on his ps4 with his homemade kontrol freaks!

The normal CQC with precision rings is what I use.

How do you use the precision rings? I tried them and I could barely move the pci from the middle of the plate.

I agree. I hated the precision rings. Way too stiff.

There are 2 colors, purple and black.. black is super stiff purple is more spongy. Both limit pci mvmnt. I trim the rings to make them slightly smaller and beveled on the bottom so theres more range of motion.

Without trimming you wont get to pitches on the edges most notably the high fb's which are pretty much guaranteed homers if you catch em.

How do you trim it if you dont mind me asking? I liked the rings for more precision but I felt too limited getting to the edges of the zone.

I use a disposable scalpel, but a straight razor, or small curved trimming scissors would do. Take small bits at a time.

I use the Ultras, they were labeled for being ideal for The Show when I bought them two years ago. Back then I was a terrible awful hitter, now I am just terrible. Your mileage may vary though.

You start in the middle or what parts do you trim down?

So i trim the bottom of outer edges. So theres less sponge on the bottom edges all the way around but the circumference looking from the top doesnt change. I want more resistance for the middle pitches but less when i have to go out to cover pitches at the edge of the zone.

More on topic, I have done some extensive research throughout the last few years on what the elite players use. Not to copy them, because what might work for them doesn't mean it has to work for you or me, but because I was genuinely interested to see if I was able to spot a trend.

Which I did. Most top players who use KontrolFreeks use the CQC signature model. Those are the green ones. Use that piece of information however you please.

Me personally, I've used most models for an extensive period of time myself. Some I liked better than others. For example, I didn't like the Galaxy at all which seems to be a popular choice for many people. I did like the green CQC signatures and also the "regular" CQC model, which is black and concaved. The Vortex is pretty good too, they're the orange ones.

At the end of the day though, my biggest takeaway with KontrolFreeks is this: there isn't a single model that's going to make you elite over night. If you want to use one you should pick one that's comfortable for your thumb and hand, don't overthink it and stick with it. Many people make the mistake of swapping them for different ones whenever they have some poor PCI placement. That's gonna happen regardless. It takes time to get used to them and repetition/muscle memory is the key to success just like how it is with pretty much everything else in this game.

At some point, I removed mine completely and it felt great. So I stopped using them and it actually improved my game, so it's also not always a guaranteed improvement. Experiment and find out what works best for you. Good luck!

    Thank you for replying!
Which ones are the CQC signature? The CQCx black ones? I cant find the green CQC signature for the ps4 online anywhere? Are they convex? Are they low or mid rise? Maybe I can find similar ones

I use the Infernos. At one point, I stacked them one on top of the other to make a mega-inferno (prestiged Inferno?), but that was just silly.

I had the KONTROLFREEK Galaxy ones last year and I liked those a lot but I bought a new set around The Show 20's launch which were the KONTROLFREEK Omni and they have been my absolute favorite and I will buy them from now on.

I want to try these raised ones but I hate the ugliness and the Call of Duty branding.
