Honestly with all the new card series, programs, etc. the content for next year’s game looks really awesome.
But personally I’m more hyped for that Pearson lol

Stream today ruled all around. So much content, and it's really awesome that single year cards are relevant again (at least until SS cards start coming out)

They showed other cards that are on par with Sig series at least for overall.

In a way it makes sense, you really shouldn't be able to get Collection rewards and then be able to ditch the collection.

It's definitely annoying. Bet hardly anybody heard that too. But bc I'm riding a high from everything they just dropped, I'll say, optimistically, that it seems like stubs are going to be VERY abundant.

It’s just not something that needed to be changed, and really just comes off as greedy.
I’m not saying SDS is a greedy company, there are others that are much worse. But this move certainly came off as greedy and just makes the user experience worse.

Yeah I caught that too. Smart move. But I’m floored that I won’t be able to quick sell. After a certain amount of time cards become unusable. I don’t play events so there’s really no reason to keep them around

I do agree with you. The biggest thing is it's going to make collections more expensive. Which sucks, but I hate to say it, it's almost worth it for all the content coming for 20.
Plus if the Mantle is the collection reward for LS, totally worth it.

Exactly. I just don’t see why this is a change that needed to be made.
All it says to me is that they saw how easy people were getting Mays and Honus, and decided they weren’t making enough money from collections.

I like this cause it makes you really think about the decision that you made. And forces you to live with it. I think that is how it should have been at least for program cards. I don't like it if they are going to have a Honus type collection like in 19 where that was an easy way to get some of the cards was buy them for 5000 and then quick sell them

I think the purpose of the LS collections was to force you to play the game more to acquire cards, or buy packs for a quicker route.
But because you could complete a ton of collections really quickly and for practically free (and this was abused) they changed the rules.
Add the fact that stubs were so easy to acquire in 19 and this made it way too easy to get Honus, Mays and Pudge.
For example, I started playing 19 in Oct, and was able to complete all of the collections without spending a dime for stubs. That should not have been possible so quickly, and was kind of unfair for those playing from day one.

It is only if you lock the cards in your collection.

Depending on who they hide behind the collection might not be worth doing quickly, It will be easier as the season goes. Not many people use the Wagner card or the Hornsby card as end game cards even Mays for that matter. Since they were new legends people wanted them. Now knowing the cards we are getting and the way were getting from experience of 19 you really do not need to complete collection right away unless it is a card your really really want.
