So Could you get Tatis without Topps Now??

So I completed the moments for tops and for tatis. I’ve collected all the tops cards and collected but it shows I’m 45 of 100 earned. How do I complete this collection?
Extended play vs. the CPU or play some Conquest. Both of those are repeatable. Save yourself the trouble and frustration by not playing online.

With all the free ones you get as you progress it's not a huge hardship, plus the players make completing TAs much easier.
Are the Topps Now cards (that the program awards you) sellable?

Can I play on rookie
Play conquest on rookie. I haven’t did the conquest for this inning program yet, so I’m knocking it out now, while grinding for Tatis

Tatis is totally worth it. You get free Topps cards along the way and the others will be only 5k or so. How could he not be worth it? Best SS in the game. He hits like a freakin machine too!

You also get 99 Castellanos through Lightning section (I think) in Trout Collection.

Yes do rookie conquests
-
Play against the CPU. You can play on Rookie. Stacked your team with players from the teams needed in the missions. I believe the teams are Blue Jays, Mariners, Indians, Rays, Yankees, Reds, and Padres.
-
Play versus CPU. Look at missions and load your team with guys that will get the missions done quickly. I think I had to play 3 or 4 games to finish. Play on rookie or whatever you're best at.

That's what I did and played 3 games and had it done in no time. Super easy to complete.

True, but does give you options. You could spend no money, do the moments and do the monthly thing and get all you need, if my calculations are correct
You are correct, I had 24 from the moments, got 8 from the program and 3 from the packs you get through the program. I even sold a few I had duplicated off the packs I earned by completing it.

Dont think you can....unless my mat is bad (and it may be) I think you can get to 90 or 92 without the topps now.....its just flat not worth it to lock in 35 Diamonds for that...
Yea the Blake Snell was like that. I was just curious. Yea def not worth it for me man. Im going to take that new Turner and go from there
You guys are out of your mind if you don’t think that card is worth the collection. Tatis is an end game shortstop and is pretty much mike trout at shortstop with even better defense.
-
They are all offline missions and can be played on any difficulty, I just went to conquest and Played 6 conquest games to complete all missions except the homer missions for Lowe and another later POTM card
-
So let’s say the average price of the topps now players your locking in is 8-10k. Tatis then will cost almost 300k worth players and stubs. Is that worth it?

Unless you’re 300k short of Mantle or MVP Trout. 1000%
-
If you locked in Topps Now cards for the Trout collection, then you are only giving up about 170,000 stubs for Tatis and Castellanos. Not to mention all the experience you get by collecting all these cheap cards. He is arguably the best shortstop in the game. Some people will pay, or pass up on, MILLIONS of stubs for the Trout card. Unlike the Snell collection, after using this card for a day, Tatis is well worth it. IMO

What are you talking about? By completing the moments you are given 13 tops now. Completing the POTM program gives you another 13. Plus 6 POTM card bringing your total to 32 that means you need 3 more at approximately 10k a piece that’s 30k. So if 30k isn’t worth an end game shortstop than what is. Not sure where you get 300k. Now if you weren’t smart enough to keep those cards then that’s on you and I’ll put Tatis in my lineup and proceed to spank you with your garbage Larkin card manning shortstop or what other inferior card you’re currently using. But a smart player hung onto their tops now cards if for no other reason then to use in the Trout collections

Trea Turner all day long at shortstop for me

Yeah, but if you played it smart and held on to all the Topps Now cards you earned from the weekly releases and added those to the cards they give away for free in the program (including the Monthly Awards cards) then you had all the cards you needed to get to 35. If you sold those cards when they came out to grab a few extra stubs in the short term then that was on you...was the Opportunity Cost of the short term gain from selling those cards worth the tradeoff? I have a feeling we will see some Topps Now packs in the next conquest map, so maybe it would have been. We'll know in a week or two.
Not only is POTM Tatis currently the best SS in the game, he may also be amongst the best 2B and 3B in the game.

You can play on rookie. Just stack your team with whichever type of players you need. Play at Coors and just get as many hits as you can. You can quit the games whenever and change your line up and start over as many times as you want.

Yes but all those players are sellable and and beside this program will probably not be used
I did hang onto a lot of them, but I couldn’t resist selling them off when they all spiked on Friday lol.
