yea i dont get the forced lock stadium thing. Doesnt make much sense. Thats not the only field around during the dead ball era
I think hey picked it cause it's teh hardest to hit dingers out of. That being said, I lost my 1st game to a walkoff Ken Griffey Sr. moonshot... I think he's on the juice now too.
Ozzie Smith hit a two run homer that bounced off the top of the wall twice in slow motion allowing him to round the bases. What fun!

It took me like 6 games to finally realize all the games were being played at forbes....I was thinking , man why is everyone wanting to play at Forbes?

I feel like you can't properly enjoy this event without wearing a Homburg and a sack suit.

Why do the rewards have to be so terrible on top of not fun parameters. Like if I had to grind this and honus was at 100, It would be fun and worth it. But a trash reliever and Cather who did not even play during the deadball era and one of the games worst pitchers as rewards ? Why even play, it’s just a prestige pitcher and warm up for ranked event , and for a whole month, that was fun. Epic idea to keep people engaged in the game

Yeah - rewards are terrible. Played 3 innings and opponent quit in 0-0 affair. Not sure I blame him as I see a lot of extra innings and it’s probably just not worth the grind.

You are "that guy"! Congrats. The final points were tallied and you saying "you dont have to play it" put you over the edge vs your opponents. your summers eve themed trophy is on its way.

They should make extra innings follow 2020 rules and start a runner in 2b for this event. Its fun, but i have had a few games go 5+ innings already

It's bad but it's really not that bad either. It's on Hall of Fame so it's not a completely insufferable slog and it's a good opportunity to prestige pitchers.
The people complaining about this one are quite literally the ones that complain EVERY time an event is on HOF

"Not fun" being key here ....
This company has made many head scratching business decisions this year in game and out. -
I think the stadium lock should be a classic stadium or Fenway and Wrigley as both were built in the dead ball era. Personally I wish it was Polo grounds bout there is no inning boss that you can use this event to prestige and only Gywnn I think for the FOTF to prestige

After about 30 minutes of setting my lineup for the first game, thinking about the pain of the grind, I just decided I was just going to download UFC 4

My only issue with this event is I know what my opponents are going to do, but then still get glitched by the game... I put on bunt defense and it won’t let me control the guy that makes the play.. I know they’re steeling and my catcher won’t throw to second...
