I know you said you only play offline, but if you can win 10 online games it will count as 30 points for the current program and 30 points for every program for which you did not complete that mission.

If you do all the collections (including previous inning bosses for 75 stars) there should be enough points for each inning to be done without playing online, at least I think. If you have done all the collections, showdowns, conquest maps, and moments (if available) to get stars, the only other way will be doing some of the player stat missions online. Even if you hate playing online, just do events to get those stats and call it a day. Don't get frustrated if you don't win, just focus on getting the stats you need to get the stars and be done with it.

I dont play online much either....but, you can get 20 points for getting 1 win with Sig John lester if you have him. When the Dead ball Event starts, if you have Lester and you can use him, just play him in the event. Probably a good chance you'll just have someone quit and get a W and 20 points. Maybe you might even get a win. I started to play a little online during events 2 months ago after being completely offline for years, and played about .500 ball, winning probably 15 or 20 of the 40 games I have played (or something like that).

I was in the same place this weekend: Needed 30 stars so the player program wouldn’t help. I played the Showdown (which I’m decent at) over 8 times. Each time increased my frustration so I had to figure something out. It was then I realized I had 2 of the bosses for the 6th inning so I just brought the 3rd(Maddux) for the set completion and the 70 stars. I already had the 3 bosses since the release so I picked the highest valued card (Walter J) and sold him. Made 15-20k stubbs in the process.

I was going to try the Lester one., i would need to win, but while i can pitch really well, although vs. the A.I., I was able to get Babe Ruth, so i think that can make me effective vs. humans. I still stink at base running. I mean, i've made some unbelievable mistakes costing me runs.
I also am still constantly in front of pitches. I've hit so many foul home runs because of it. Those 2 issues keep me from trying online for the first time since 2017. The timing woes came after i got a monitor last August! It is just the most frustrating thing ever.
So a player just starting this game would have no chance of getting previous bosses. That doesn't seem right.

If you can get the Babe, you can win online. Just need to be patient at the plate, and wait for your pitch (just like on HOF)

That's what i keep telling myself!
    Thanks for the encouraging words.

Smh, DD is primarily an online mode. If you choose to play DD then you've chosen to accept the fact that most of the progress gained toward programs requires you to play online. If you don’t like this aspect of the game then stop playing the game. Presumably, no one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to do something you don’t want to do. Please stop complaining about offline versus online progress its nauseating.

Moments, Showdown, and Conquest say hello. Seems SDS doesn't exactly agree with you there homie.

I was able to get my Prestige opponent to quit a Dead Ball event game to get the final points winning with Jon Lester. i took him out for a PH in a 0-0 game. I guess my opponent got frustrated by my pitching and defense! First online game since '17
