How will 99 Griffey Jr. be introduced this year?
-
I'm thinking everyone's favorite HR hitter will be the big reward for grinding out the Deadball event. If they were going to give a small ball player as the reward for that event they wouldn't have released a signature Kenny Lofton earlier in the year.
-
In a player program like Ruth, or locked behind that pesky showdown 2 banner we have yet to see released. I'm assuming that banner is going to be showdown extreme, which is a gigantic hard pass from me if true.

A player program. He has his own nameplate that hasn’t been unlocked yet.

This actually makes more sense than showdown extreme. As I said i figured it may be another program similar to ruth, but remembering now that Griffey banner is still locked I think it's all but guaranteed to be a program.

They could have done much more with Evolution programs, Jackie has been the only one done right so far.
-
If it’s a BR reward, there is going to be a chase to get a 1,000,000 bid in. There will over one hundred 1,000,000 bids as soon as it’s on the market. Then you will have to wait for it
Don’t see it being a BR reward, but it is possible.

My bet for the dead ball is a prime or ss John olerud.....only have the Mets card so far.

Nooooooo please!
I can't stand moments as it is they're so boring I actually get really sleepy after like 2 of them then don't even want to play.

I think Griffey Jr. will be introduced as a heel at Clash of Champions. Glass shattering and massive fireworks as he runs full speed to the ring and clears house. Bah gawd!

Good call. After reconsideration, the Deadfall Event rewards will likely be Olereud (as you say) or Honus Wagner.
Griffey will be a big program reward similar to the Ruth program.

Olerud is possible. I was thinking dead ball era players but their are only 3 left and Cy Youngs best card was an event reward last year and Honus IMO is a 9th inning boss. That leaves Christy Mathewson, who will be one of the event rewards I think

probably a player program like Ruth or moments extreme. but I don't know what SDS is waiting for. They still have to release some elite players and we know soon a boss will be all future stars.
-
I’m hoping another player program like Ruth, awards in that were awesome

Rangers Nolan Ryan has a nameplate too but he already has an Angels 99 card out. Ortiz and Rivera also have them and they were inning bosses. So I could be wrong but I’m not sure having a nameplate means much.

Showdown Extreme could be worth x stars for a Griffey player program so you never know.

What do you mean a boss will be all future stars? Do I need to start collecting those?

Man, the Ruth was such a boring grind though!

I mean in the next 2-3 boss innings. the 300 star bosses will probably be all future stars players.

Nah it'll be SS Christy Mathewson or Cy Young.
