Chapman is not even from beach ball tho. For the elite round of beach ball, I doubt it from the start, since Ryan and Hornsby are already elite players.

If you have the stubs, go get him. If you play on AS, Chap does get lit up from time to time. Don’t let that discourage you, because when he’s nasty he’s nasty.
Also, Rob Dibble is a must have in your pen.

Saw this post a few days ago and was thinking about picking up Chapman for 120k. I didn't get him and haven't looked at his price over the past couple days but just did and saw he's now at 87k! His price is going down big time. I'm guessing at 87k this card is a steal of a deal. I wonder how low it will get and if it will go back up at some point.

That’s what happens when everyone gets a free ducks elite pack. Will def go back up unless they give out more of the packs, which is possible with the POTM and topps now programs

Makes sense. I didn't realize everyone got a free ducks elite pack. I'm glad I didn't get him at 120k a few days ago. Now I'm wondering if I should snag him up now or wait a little longer to see how low he goes.

Cool man, ill keep an eye on his price and probably pull the trigger soon. Thats a card ive been wanting for a long time now and at that price its hard to pass up. I still use his LS card and do well with it too so I'm sure his SS card is incredible. Thanks for the info!

Very good point and I agree with you. I'm just still working towards Trout so trying to save all i can. I'm kind of like that with my stubs in general and I don't know why. You're right though, stubs aren't too difficult to get at this point so I should.

With 99 Wagner being a BR reward it increases Sig Chapmans value because he's a lot more attainable for 90% of the playerbase. I paid 169k early on and I don't regret that 60k or so "wasted". He's worth it.

I got him yesterday at 96,000. I figured at that price it was time to pull the trigger. I got him when they were doing the DOTP packs for sale last weekend I believe and sold him then for 120K.

Hes probably not top 3 lhrp, but that tops now guy from the Tigers (forgot his name. Alexander maybe?) is pretty good. He doesn't have great velocity, but his two seamer breaks in and down towards a lefty, he has 5 pitches and good stamina. I like his card. I use him against a tough lefty or use him to eat up innings if a starter needs to come out early
