After playing the 10 hours on EA play or access or whatever they’re calling it, it was an easy pass for me

It is the same. It isnt any worse this year. People are just getting "woke". EA is one of the worst companies on the planet, literally. Honestly this game has slowly been going down the same path. I really hope this wakes them up a bit here. Because I would hate to this turn out like them. EA use to have NBA Live, and to the older crowd that means something. NBA Live 95, 98, 2000 and so on were awesome. Now they are a shell of themselves and got replaced by a company that is a shell of what NBA Live use to be. Money is the motivation, always will be.
All the focus is on micro transactions and not gameplay. Well, hard to get those extra micro transactions if you dont get the initial 59.99 first. SO better step it up.
Not a shot at SDS, just explaining how bad EA has gotten because of the path they chose.

Try playing NHL. That game has to be made by EA interns

I actually like MUT this year. I do prefer the stubs method in the Show. The collection method in the show is also much better. But I have a 10 year old TV so playing the show online is near impossible, yet to break 700. However in MUT, I've finished in the top 100 in Weekend league several times last year.

Every year when the football game (which I'd rather not name) comes out, I'm always quick to buy it. It's not that the game is better, but my friends are not baseball fans and I figure its the one of the few we have in common. This year, I did the same thing I always do and left MLBTS to start grinding a NMS football team. After some of the worst gameplay I've ever seen, I realized how lucky I am to have the show. It definitely has its flaws, but not nearly enough of them to convince me to play the other garbage.
Only sports game I play probably wouldn't have even got into Baseball at all had Fifa and basically all EA games sucking for years. Been watching and playing since 2012 now on off a few years but despite The Show beings heads and tails above other sports games you definitely feel a creeping presence of things EA do or and don't do becoming increasingly familiar here.

worse madden of all time.. we should all get our money back!

I'm done with Madden. Fundamental football strategy should outclass glitchy e-book based "money plays" and nano-blitzes, but it hasn't done so in years. Last year's addition of "special abilities" which you could only unlock by sinking training points (currency) was the final straw.
I won't buy a football game again until the return of the NCAA series. Nick Rolovich and the anti-meta Washington State University Run and Shoot playbook for the win!

I just had to vent. Glad to see others feel the same way I do. As much as we complain about this game (rightfully so at times), I don't think anyone really comes close to beating it. People can say 2k, but after a couple months the content makes the game unplayable for those who dont drop big $.
This game IMO is way better than NBA 2K.

did not buy the football game for the first time since 04 Vick cover because the incredible content SDS has put out continuously this year, making DD so much fun. Extremely grateful for SDS!
NCAA series were a blast hopefully they make a comeback one day. -
Glad people are realizing it. Madden has been [censored] for a long time, haven't actually purchased it since 16.
